No there is not unfortunately the island is pretty unique and this is coming from someone who lived there since I was born until I was 15 and then traveled around the USA as a truck driver.

If you can 't afford to go to Hawaii, go to Catalina Island.,! Beautiful place to visit. July 4th is a great time to go there., not only does the city put on a fabulous fireworks display but the multitude of expensive yachts anchored there shoot off their own fireworks! I always walk up to the bell tower where there is a water meter cover i can sit on to see the entire harbor! Wonderful.

I done the pair sailing and deed in fact see a big shark off the bottom and they dip you in the water tho tob 😂 I wasn’t ready for that part

When you buy tickets you can sit outside or inside I choose outside love it cold or not the fact about catilna you will spen about 400 to 500 apart form the hotel s they have witch for 1 noght cost like 400 tho Avalon is cool but the other side of the island is fun to camp
