Nice , the trout like whatever lure you are using with your spin gear . Can you dry fly fish there ? Looked like some fish rising . Thanks for the video 🥃

Thanks Mike yes you can fish the dry fly there. There's a lot of trout and sea trout in the river Earn 👍

I would definitely go for a 13ft. It'll handle the back end with floaters, tips and potentially big fish, there's a few big ones go up every year. It'll alsobe big enough for the Spring, sunk lunes and tubes etc. It's got a reasonable spring run

No problem, you should get some Rio Gamechangers for the Spring too, they can handle a 20ft tip which gives you a wide range of depths.

It's Dunning Angling Club I'm a member of. Have you joined Crieff Angling Club? They have a lot of water on the Earn.

Hi I am heading up from Liverpool to stay at Braidhaugh in Creiff with my 14 year old who is a mad angler on the 24th of October. I've not a clue but he does. Any advice on where to fish and what gear to use? He's dying to catch a salmon, is it possible this time of year?

Hi thanks for watching, yes the Earn is still open until the 30th October and you should be able to get a permit for the Crieff Angling Club water from Fishpal.com. 👍
