I the opening, and I am reconstructing this---You are practicing with commitment to your partner, creativity, career, family for ultimately the Atonement! These are testing grounds, but with well established commitments in these areas your byproduct is a rewarding career, family, partner etc.--if you are guided, this is incredibly insightful.

Things of the world don't make you happy, nor do they take away our happiness, contrary to our conditioning. This is probably the most important thing for me to remember at this point in my life, at 78 and years of Course studies, I haven't acquired the ability to see this Truth until the last few years when I noticed that the things I said I would do when I retire mean nothing at all because I was still pointing the finger at the world of stuff and phenomena. Thank You David I have downloaded many of your audios, some are very hard to hear but many are clear and I listen all night while I sleep and I sleep better. David has an amazing encompassing and even nerdy grasp on the Course and apparently a photographic mind for it and injecting lighthearted messages from songs and movies, and I love the fresh take he has on EVERYTHING. Who uses the word "cleave" or scavenger hunt ... it drives it home. An wordsmith for sure. I am privileged to find him after many Course instructors that weren't quite a fit for me, probably because I wasn't ready to give up the world, I had to suffer many years until now.

Thank you David. Like others I feel you have given such clarity to ACIM. Wthout you, studying and applying ACIM in my every day life would be difficult. There were some great takeaways for me today that were so meaningful: "I cannot awaken myself, but I can allow myself to be awakened" Love this as I have tried so hard through the years with reading and practicing, but to simply allow feels wonderful. It takes all the pressure off. I also loved your statement that: "We're here to undo our autonomy". The ego doesn't like that, but the heart rejoices with the freedom that brings. Again thank you.😙
