Love the story of how you came to own your home in Transylvania. My husband bought a dilapidated cottage 48 years ago prior to asking me to marry him. Through sheer hard work and determination, he did most of the work himself to make it the home it is today. He has passed now, but I can wander through the rooms and remember how they used to look and see his handy work , remember the good days and bad (leaking roof) Now it is a cozy reminder of the love we both put into it, and I am eternally grateful for my home. So, may you have as many happy years in your home Stephen and Rebeca oh, and Timmy 🐶

Stephen, from the bottom of all your subscribers hearts. You listen to our inspirational ideas. You give us your spin of our stories. Sometimes we can’t sleep because we want to know the end. But mostly you lull most of us if not all; into a safety of sleep in a safe calm space. Thank you for giving us personal stories we can sometimes go back to. My children and I have wonderful imaginations. I’m sure many of the listeners would love a story about Timmy in his eyes. He’s such a beautiful little soul and would have stories to tell himself! My children and I think maybe he could see and things that us humans couldn’t or hear… Maybe he could make friends with other animals or other majestic creatures. We spoke about this over dinner tonight

The love that goes into your content is genuinely completely unmatched on this platform. Easily the best channel on KZbin when it comes to sleep meditation. Most channels nowadays upload once every two weeks and only record 15 mins worth of speaking, but you do such an incredible and thorough job in such a personal and comforting way. I have no doubt the channel numbers will reflect that more in time. Thank you for everything you do Stephen, it’s truly much appreciated!

I loved that, Stephen.❤ I laughed quietly to myself as you told of your nevity about construction. I had to be very quiet as I didn't want to wake my husband. I listen to your stories with my phone under my pillow.😊 Then as you shared about the joy you had when t was finished, I silently cried in happiness. Beautifully told. Yes, your voice is a gift from God. I've tried, but haven't found any other story tellers as talented. I do thank God for your gift. It's helped me greatly. Ok, back to sleep for me. God night.

I can't believe that one of the best stories I've ever heard, and I'm 61, was a story about a man and his wife buying their first home and how they fixed it up. What's really crazy, is that probably the best story I've ever heard, was the same guy having a cup of tea in that same apartment, on a stormy day, which then made him really sleepy and he takes a nap!😮 What a talent for storytelling. And the voice...amazing. These stories did not get me to sleep. Because I wanted to hear the whole story. But, now that I have, I'll listen to them again to fall asleep. Especially the stormy day story. Now, to be fair, I like sleeping with fans blasting on me, and also it's early in the morning. Well, early for me anyway since I never go to bed before 5 am for some awful reason. But anyway, it seems the power went out. So the fans stopped, while in the middle of this story. I was going to try to go back to sleep, but then I thought about that whole pot of coffee out there starting to get cold since power is out. So yeah, I'm going to have to get up. Because I love my coffee. Hot. Power is probably only out up here on our ranch, up in the forest on the hill. Not in town though. So I'll probably go visit someone in town if it stays off. Well. I just rambled, didn't I? Lack of sleep. Anyway, nothing has ever relaxed me like these stories. And I find that my favorite are your own personal stories. Somewhere in Transylvania. Thank you. From somewhere in rural Northern Idaho, USA

Hi Stephen, as only a few treasures on the internet, I randomly had your channel appear a month ago. What a wonderful Christmas gift that keeps on giving, this was and is. For a stressed out grandma, please know that your voice and style bring me much peace, as do the references to your lovely wife. I sincerely loved this story of your home in Transylvania. My heritage is all eastern european, as well as my beloved husband who resides in heaven. We had the joy and memories of building our home in the American midwest forty five years ago. I am sincerely happy that you have been able to do this. Many blessings in your home, health and your unique channel. Thank you for your excellent work. Peace and love.

Omg I love these stories! Please do more about Transylvania! Maybe you could do one about you’re redone apt? I also love this for you and your wife! I’ve had insomnia since I can remember. Some of my first memories are laying in bed for hours every night or having panic attacks in my room while trying to fall asleep. These have help so much with my insomnia, PTSD, and nightmares that I’m going to tell by metal health provider about them! 💚 Best wishes to you and your wife!

It was interesting to hear you say it was in a way the natural God given gift of your voice that gave you your home. That made me very contemplative about life and how it is the gifts we are given that can save us and provide a good life. It’s not all about materialism which does not make people happy. Especially in America it is propagated as the end all be all. Another reason I would like to go to Europe where it seems more family and culturally oriented. Love hearing these real life stories of what life is like in a part of the world where it’s more about what matters in life. 🤍🕊️

I love this story ❤. My husband and I bought an acre of land that we love. We haven't been able to move or build anything on it yet for lack of money but we go out to the property and dream of where the house will go and where there will be flowers of all kinds and fruit bearing trees. We discuss where a pergola or a gazebo might go. Someday we will see our dreams come true but, I know it will take years of work to plant and build, to see fruit grow on some of the trees that have yet to be planted, to see flowers growing all over our land and to sit on our property overlooking all that we worked hard for years to see come to fruition. I love older architecture and I love to marvel at the care and attention paid to detail. Thank you so much for sharing this part of your life and journey with us. You truly inspire me in so many ways. ❤❤❤

Thank you Stephen! Over the years, until I found you I searched for soothing sounds or rain to put me to sleep. I would often wake up remembering vivid, sometimes horrible dreams that certain channels I believed caused. Possibly using subliminal messaging deep into their sleep sounds. Luckily I found you! I only pleasantly dream with your comforting voice and I fall into a deep yet refreshing somber. Thank you again for the much needed sleep!! 💙

Thank you, I really enjoyed this. I didn’t go to sleep but sometimes that’s fine. I have ME/CFS and have to rest a lot. This can be boring, but I don’t want to listen to anything too stimulating or needing a lot of concentration. Your stories fill that gap sometimes. Other times I do use them to go to sleep. I love your voice and also your ethos. I particularly like the Celtic ones, if I fall asleep I go back and listen to them another time. I am in the UK.
