To clear up your confusion. Your failed arcana save would have informed you that the potion was a sleeping potion. And one of the half elf racial traits prevents you from being put to sleep magically.

This is fine for people who actually enjoy the game as well as the turn based combat, I’ve seen soooo many streamers not care about builds or figuring out how to get better at combat because they wanted to pick up stuff that sounded fun, then watch them just ABSOLUTELY lose it when they keep losing, missing or taking like 20 rounds to finish any fight😂 I mean yeah it’s funny but if your gunna be that person investing in combat knowledge might be a better idea

They're a challenge but I think that makes it worth it. Stoic, wise, and just enough mystery to make you intrigued. Plus not too hard on the eyes. One day, you will be mine Withers.

Astarion still being covered in blood during that whole evening conversation really made it all come together lmaooo. Also wow I was not expecting Wyll to become a devil (or really tiefling because the devils seem like they have wings in this universe?). Depending on what it means that's kind of cool in a way, could be quite the power up! Shadowheart always intrigues me and I love her design. Her and Astarion were my faves back when watching older beta versions and they still are now so far lol. Really enjoy the calm and thoughtful playthrough, as others have said.

Shadowheart is my favourite, she flirts and teases in the most innocent of ways that if you were to follow up on them she'd rebuke you; asking her about the artefact and she'd say something along the lines of "I'm not getting into this, and neither are you". Then there's that camp outfit, all the talk of enduring pain, approving that ritual, major Dom vibes - plus being a cleric she has healing spells, so you know she wouldn't hold back during an encounter with her. Also, any child that thinks throwing stones at a bear in a cage is fun, deserves to be pushed down the stairs, you did the right thing.

I'm aware that I am late to this party, but had to fully complete the game several times myself before watching someone else play it... Now. That goblin child voice. I had to go back and listen to it at least three times (lies, it was more). I wish I could just have it as a sound bite for when I'm sad. Because it's perfect 😂

@MadMorph you really need to use the barbarian rage ability on your barbarian. it halves all damage taken from regular attacks by half + gives you a damage bonus.

Love the playthroughs. I love how the game is so different for everyone that plays. I just got to the goblin camp myself. Interestingly enough for me the artifact on its own left shadowheart and ended up in my inventory and I can't give it back. But I wonder if it's because I switch out the memebers of my party often.

@@MadMorph IRL ones are always the best. ^_^ There’s usually a lot of laughter involved, because you can’t do takesy backsies, and those really bad rolls can make for some hilarious outcomes. If you don’t have any IRL friends who are into it, you could always go online and look for other players in the vicinity and ask if they’d like to start a group. DnD players are usually verrry keen on finding new players. It’s one of the funniest and best things I’ve ever done. ^_^

1:55:41 I know this is an old video but I highly recommend people do let him hit you and hit you until the end of the whole interaction because you'll get a permanent condition the Protection of Loviatar which saves your tav when they are on their last hit points in battle. They'll bask in the protection of Lovitar which will help them to stop them being killed.

@@MadMorph I'll stop yammering on with this video part but if you're loving this, have you played the dragon age series? specifically dragon age origins. it's giving similar vibes, like a dragon age origins and divinity fusion. I saw someone comment elsewhere about how this game's gives that dragon origins vibe (I happen to agree) and what dragon age inquisition should've been 🤷‍♀ but yes bg3 has me in a chokehold 😬🥲

I ALWAYS romance Astarion. He's my BG3 hubby. My party I like to mod so I can take them all with me plus scratch 😂 But before I discovered the mod I mainly went with Astarion, Shadowheart and either Lae'zel or Karlach. But I swapped out for Gale occasionally and Wyll rarely. He was my least used which might be a little unfair. I also respecced a couple of them.

I know its late so i can't do anything about it, but i hope in the playthrough morph figures out that guidance in a cantrip so it can be used perpetually, and that Astarion can hide and sneak attack in one turn, or he can flank an enemy with him and that also allows him to sneak attack

I absolutely love the fact you give voice to all the weird stuff to be shown on the channel, like most people would feel unconfortable in showing so many scenes or even not take the choices because they are out of the good or neutral path and more on the kink-evil side, but the fact you do things just out of curiosity and roll with all the weirdos just to see how far they go is where lies the true fun of roleplaying. Some situations may be awkward but if you have the right attitude you can just laugh at it. And as a bonus you found out that two of your party members are into some BDSM-stuff lol And Yep, as I predicted in the last video, I was right in both the fact that you're into Shadowheart and that I would be into Karlach. She is so much like my usual DnD characters. Rebel, with a violent and sad past, rugged and tough, but an actual sweetheart when you get passed her defenses. Being thick, bodybuilder style, a barbarian and a tiefling are def bonuses. OMG the prince charming guardian Goblin, I was NOT expecting that!

Yes you can respec your characters by taking them to wither. You should probably consider it for Astarion, having made him an Arcane Trickster. He's only got a 13 for int and their spells use int for their to hit chance, and the difficulty of resisting them.

It was rather jarring to have so much of that battle with the "paladins" be cut out. I don't mind a longer video if it means leaving the battles intact. Hah. Glad you changed Astarion's night clothes... now can we do something about that ridiculous hat he wears in the day? (Yeah, I'm well aware I'm 2 months behind the action and you may have done so, weeks ago by now, haha.) In another playthrough I'm watching, Minthara makes a great companion with an evil party. She's got a lot of depth most players will never know about because they kill her.

I'm not sure if you realized and I'm sorry if this comes off as backseating its just I remember you saying you wanted an emphasis on the druids wildshape mechanics and it looks like when you switched classes with Withers it switched you to circle of the land a spell focused sub class versus circle of the moon which boosts wild shape which is what you were originally but it switched over during your level ups at the end of episode 2 at around the 2 and a half hour mark probably a bit before as that was when you were already switched to a circle of the land druid you'll have to pay withers again to go back to circle of the moon subclass. Again im sorry if that comes of as back seating that isn't my intention I'm not even sure if you'll see this lol😅

Absolutely love watching this series! I would also happily watch your villainous playthrough, should you go on and post it. This would be hilarious 😂 teaming up with gobbos, join the cult and revelling in the dark urge. The possibilities! Most of such games give no choice but to become a noble hero, and the path of kindness is the most rewarding one, literally forcing player to gravitate towards “good” choices… but here I see some improvements on that matter, which would be fun to explore. 😊
