Ahh I really want to go on a date with my husband to a bookstore now 😄 We both love books, we have a little library in our home with more than 5000 books 😊 Our children love books too. Going to the library in our city is such a treat for my family. Then cosy on the couch reading books under a blanket with candles on. We love it so much (and I think that is why our children love to read too). Greetings from the Netherlands

🥺😭 I was so emotional while filming it because it really did feel like a tribute to little Mo with nothing figured out! I remember wanting sooo many books when I filmed it back in 2019 but literally not having ANY money to buy them. I was sweating at checkout. Not all growth is financial…it just felt so good to be back, filming the same video, but in a much better place within my life. Like if I could go back and tell 2019 Mo that in exactly 2 years I’d be here…I would have balled my eyes out. Anyways, thank you so so so much for being here since the beginning, Rhiannon friend- you’re one of a very special few ❤️

Landon did a great job with that beginning shot, I felt like I was in a theater for the first time in years. I wish we had a Powell's where I live, but I live in a small country city that doesn't have much in the way of bookstores and only one small library lol, but I love it regardless. Always a joy to go to Powells. I can spend hours there and have found many treasured books there over the years. I have to confess I have never read any Agatha Christie novels. I see some good recommendations here. Also Mary Oliver is my favorite poet and Upstream is a must read for you. I also love Hygge and Simple Life/Declutter life style books. I have a few in my library. I have to say I have never seen so few people at Powells. I always go during the day. Nighttime does have its charm. I have also read all the Jane Austen novels and Emma and Pride and Prejudice are my favorites. I love the nature section too. Have books on trees, mushrooms, and flowers. Need to check out the book on clouds. :) Thanks Morgan for another really fun video.

Your first Powell's video was how I first found your channel. Rainy night's at Powell's are my favorite time to visit. (Also, parking is easier, LOL). I think showing most of the rooms really helps your viewers get a sense of the size of the store. The first few times I visited I felt like I was in an M. C. Escher painting, or maybe the scene with the stairs at the end of the movie Labyrinth. I've read a handful of Agatha Christie. Right now I'm reading Midwinter Murders, which is a collection of her wintry short stories. I'm really enjoying it and it might be a good way for you to try out all her different characters and see which of her series will most appeal to you.

This is such a cozy vlog to watch on a Sunday morning, thank you Morgan! I totally envy you for having such a huge bookstore where you live. I live in Germany so most of the time I have to order books I want to read in English.... A little Princess is such a great book and beautifully written, I also highly recommend The Secret Garden and Little Lord Fauntleroy if you haven’t read them yet (they are by the same author, I’m also currently writing my BA thesis on those two books :) I also love Agatha Christie and I highly recommend the Partners in Crime series with Tommy and Tuppence which is great and not as overwhelming because there are only five books in this series!

Agatha Christie recommendations:- All of them!!! In all seriousness , the ones I would recommend for someone who is beginning on their journey with Agatha Christie's books would be The Mysterious Affair at Styles (her first book), The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Death on the Nile, The Murder at the Vicarage, The Body in the Library, The Secret Adversary, Partners in Crime, The Man in the Brown Suit (my favourite!) and 4.50 from Paddington. Just to name a few! I'm a very big Agatha Christie fan and have read all her books and love every one!

What an incredible video! I found your channel in 2020, second semester (I believe!), And also only saw the first "version" of this video's then. I was so down, I was going through a really harsh lockdown, I was living in a room alone, never going outside, except for groceries. When I first saw your channel I couldn't believe that there were people who still had magic in them and were brave enough to put it out there for the world to see, and that grace and vulnerability were valued anymore, specially at that time. Not only you showed me that there was still whimsy in the world but also that I could find and harvest it in me. Thank you so much.
