As a fellow CPA, I found your series of videos very entertaining and you've gained a subscriber from it. Excellent point-by-point analysis. KZbin is filled with these side-hustle gurus and this clickbait crap appeals to a lot of people unfortunately. However, the outro music is another issue...

I found you from your post in the comment section on the original video. I am glad I watched all of this because I am just a regular day to day employee, but I have the fortune of knowledge where I have filed my own taxes so I honestly could not point out HOW his stuff sounded off, but you put it into clear words with proof to back it up. I am a person who follows my gut and if something feels like I am trying to think too hard, the person on the other end probably doesn't know much about what they are talking about. I also went in and watched more videos and even though I am in a different state, your advice is very clearly explained and easily followed, so I hope to see your account grow plenty!

Thank you for watching and for your kind words, Kimi! With taxes -- as with everything else -- if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! :D

This was very thought-provoking for me. While I felt like I already knew everything you brought up, I know that I *didn't* know to spot it through the words you pointed out. Your video really illustrated the difference between knowing how something's done and mastering enough to catch someone doing it wrong.

Fantastic job! I'm going to have a tricky year and I'm not sure when I should need a tax lawyer vs a CPA. Houses and multiple brokerages and a divorce and job losses and tons of crazy stuff. Thought Kevin was too good to be true and I'm so glad you commented to validate my skepticism. Keep making more videos like this. Very informative! Also, I'm a fellow metal head, just volumizing the music to 50% max from the rest of the video with a slow fade in will be enough. Don't change the genre! \m/

Hello Anthony, Thank you for watching and for your feedback! With regard to the situation that you described (houses, multiple brokerages, divorce, etc.), it would be prudent to consult with a CPA to ensure that your taxes as filed correctly if you are not comfortable tackling them yourself -- I'd be glad to help! :D Please feel free to reach out to me at (323) 531-3500 to discuss further. With respect to the music -- point taken! :) \m/

What I would like to see is your thoughts on how to pay less taxes legally, but actually. Like what should the average person do

This video was extremely funny, and THE education was sort of the desert...THAT IS A GIFT.....As opposed to just making educational videos, your branding and you tube presence would be unique and original if it was built around debunking bad money advise given by YOU TUBERS WITH this type of humor and education mixed in with all your videos.....very nice..

Your 3 part series on this was very Informative. Can you do a video about what kind of deductions/credits are reasonable for starting a business that trades stocks and only has yourself as the only employee?

Bro I watched all 3 videos and I LOVED them, I was dying laughing at times 😂 because you're right, Kevin's videos sometimes just go way off... The sarcasm was hilarious and about the outro, I know it's not the best, but just lower it a little bit or something, it's just super loud out of nowhere. Also, yes Kevin looks like he's in his kid's room filming his videos, but it's kinda fun and quirky... meanwhile your background looks like the set of Office Space lol, no offense, especially if that's what you're going for.. It reminds me of when I went to my mom's job in May of '97 🤣. If you spice it up a bit and maybe get some color in the background that'd be cool.

Thank you for watching and for your direct and detailed feedback, Joey! As much as I love the movie Office Space, I will be looking to upgrade the video filming situation shortly so stay tuned! :D

@@EfrosFinancial Lol, I was a film producer/director in my earlier days, then became a financial regulator, and then moved into internal audit at a major Wall Street investment bank currently, so my entire job description up to now is basically to tell people what they did wrong and be really specific about it, so I appreciate you being so cool about that 😂😂... But dude I am rooting for you! I watched a couple more of your videos and they're super informative, I say keep it up! There's way too many 'gurus' out there who have great ideas, but sometimes drop the ball on the details... As they say, the devil's in the details right? So I'm all for Kevin pumping up his followers to to out and invest, but also do it smart man, don't get people in trouble with the law or the tax man either.... If they got Al Capone for tax evasion, they'll get you too one day sooner or later, so be smart. You would not believe some of the absolute BONKERS shit you see as a regulator on a day-to-day basis as well. Hope to see the new filming set soon!

Thank you for reiterating that information! I’m not sure how much you could tell me but I am looking to purchase a vehicle over 6K pounds and use it primarily for doing side jobs through delivery apps and delivery companies but will likely be seen as a 1099 contractor. Even if this were a weekend kind of thing for me (I still have a 9-5) would it still be possible for me to deduct anything from the purchase of the vehicle? I watched Kevin’s video and was encouraged to look more into it since that’s the piece that resonated with me the most, but I’m not sure what I could even deduct or if I could deduct anything since it’s more of a “side hustle” as opposed to a full-time business.

If kevin doesn't know what he's talking about then why is he 100× richer then you? You get to technical and because of that I wouldn't hire you. Rich people don't pay taxes and neither do you with the right cpa.
