How do you get the info from your bank statement to excel? Do you have to input it yourself one by one?

I wish u would have shown how to find the CSV file from the online banking profile and then how to import the raw data. I'm gonna call the help line at Wells Fargo.

I'm a Lyft driver who has been renting hybrid cars long term from Lyft to do rideshare driving. I can't believe how many people say u must own the car in order to take the standard mileage deduction. I disagree. IRS doesn't care if "your" car is financed, leased or rented. In all 3 cases, nobody actually owns the car. We make payments weekly or monthly under contract to drove the "car" (suv, van, etc.). As a renter, obviously I won't be taking extra deductions for loan interest & depreciation. But Tesla drivers can also take the standard mileage deduction even though their car doesn't require gas or oil changes. The entire point is vehicle expenses for business use. Few people actually own the car & possess the pink slip. Unbelievable how many people get stuck on semantics & miss the point entirely esp regarding standard mileage deduction. Leasing a car & renting a car are both vehicle expenses & all the other costs involved in operating the vehicle.
