A Crazy Christmas Decision!

Four years ago, I became critically ill and I almost died. I was on a ventilator, in a coma, and on dialysis. By God’s grace, I survived but it was a long way back. I was in the hospital and then rehab for several months. Since it was COVID, my family couldn’t come to see me. I had never been separated from my husband for so long in our 20 years of marriage. To say that it was difficult is an understatement. During this time, I happened to find your channel. I loved watching your children and daily life of raising a large family. It helped me cope with the challenges of my rehabilitation and missing my family so much. As it so happens, I am currently in the hospital. I opened up my IPad to KZbin and there was your Christmas video. Once again, you helped me laugh and realize how blessed I am! I tell people that my recovery was not easy but I didn’t do it alone. God was with me every step of the way. I also believe that God sends people like you to bless those of us in our time of need. Don’t underestimate how important your channel is to others! I love that your Christmas celebration is about Jesus, music, and spending time together with family. Thank you for sharing your life!

It is so difficult losing loved ones during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. We lost our 4 month old son on Christmas day in 1989. Still to this day Christmas holds some bitter sweet memories.
