I think general ideas for openings would be really cool. For instance, I'm somewhat familiar with the main lines of the English opening, but what happens when the opponent plays something I haven't seen before, then what should my main idea be? Stuff like that would be awesome

Hey agadmator as per today its tal’s birthday, so i wrote a short poem hope u like it: Tal Oh Tal Oh Great Mikhail Tal You are the Greatest of which I recall; Many have a fortune hidden in a shoe, yet you are the favourite of fortune too. Gambit, Sac, attack you play, even with the cronic over the Day, you are my magician and of riza too, over an ‘ELO’ of 2702; Sacrifice you make over the hippo to, finally winning the day which you always do. Tenth they say but you are the first, with you unrepetable style and creative burst; Far in mosow,but close to my heart you lie, we never stood a chance to say goodbye; Greatest Nobel Winter king of all, Tal Oh Tal Oh great Mikhail Tal. #Tal

Love your channel! You do such an amazing job with the breakdown of multiple lines - literally watch every day. Do you happen to know of the game where one pawn is relentlessly pressed down the side of the board? It’s not the classic “When Pawns Attack” game. I saw it on the website Greatest Chess Games - the player keeps pushing his pawn down the edge of the board, sacrificing I believe both a knight and a rook, and winning with promotion. It was surreal - I figured if anyone would know, you might. Keep up the incredible work

I read a similar scheme in a novel. I believe the idea is to use different color pieces and play one grandmasters moves against the other. You're supposed to make a bet or something though, not sure how this would work when you're just offering them money.

Ey smart guys! 6:14 Agad says that here capturing on f7 wins, because after that, comes rook to e1 check. But what if then, black blocks with bishop on e6? What am I missing? D8 is guarded, the bishop blocking is guarded by the queen, the queen does not hang because of the H pawn. Couldn't it be, that white played e7, because it was the only winning move?

Hi, Antonio, all. After Black Knt to f5, at 4:45, how about Q to f6 threatening mate on e7, This pins the knight on f5, so Pg4 would win it. If black plays Knt to c6, then Pb5, and both knights are potentially vulnerable, and white still has the threat of mate on e7. Black's queen can't help as the black squares c5 and d6 are covered, and Qd8 is mate anyway if black's queen moves off that diagonal, so Qxb4 doesn't save black.
@adrianjamesgamboa5236
@adrianjamesgamboa5236 2 жыл бұрын
If Qf6, black's left knight can do some tricks 1. Qf6, Nc6 2. b5, Ne7 3. If either Bxf5 or g4, Nd5 will kick off the white queen, gives black tempo to recapture f5 or move knight from f5 while removing checkmate threat

#suggestion: please teach us what do we have to have in our mind to play like this? what kind of preparation that we have to do? i am a low rated player, i learn chess like crazy, but i can never give a pawn for free just for a positional advantage, because if i miscalculate, i will be lose. actually i will sac anything to win the game, but is very difficult to "see" the way to that winning pattern. but this GM even sac a queen, and still win!!! i wish i can play like that too. please change my stupid mind. i want to become a stronger player. thank you agad ^_^
