This is why I advise people to lock their credit and debit cards after every transaction and keep them locked until the next one. They should avoid using debit cards directly linked to their bank to prevent their account from being drained by fraud. Instead, it's safer to use credit cards or third-party debit cards like Cash App and Chime, which only allow transactions when there’s enough money in the account. Credit cards are better however because that money is not gone from your account when fraud happens. You won’t be responsible for paying those charges until the investigation is closed.

Worst thief ever! To this day she doesn't realize that by her saying she eventually paid for that purchase with cash, was her admittance of using the stolen card. She thought she was smart enough to pull off the crime, and smart enough to fool the judge. The only way she could have screwed this up any more was to be actually wearing the hair she bought with the stolen credit card. I hope she's good at hair, because her career as a criminal will not be a fruitful one.
