If you pay 10% to a bondsman you don't get it back. You can only get your money back if you pay the full bond amount to the jail. That's how a bonding company makes money, they loan you money at 10% interest. If you don't go to court they lose all the money they put up. I love your show!

How he describes county jail is exactly how I tell my kids it was for me. People think prison time is hard time but county is the hardest part with the biggest transition. It’s sad because you could be in for something small yet you’re next to a guy who’s destined to get life . Nobody knows exactly what will happen to them therefore there’s a lot of stress in the air. Which ultimately turns into anger

@@obsidian7644 When I was in jail the segregated it based on your bail. If it was under $50k you went to the low security dorm section. If it was over $50k or you were remanded you went to the cells. Then they had a separate cell section for violent offenders and gang members. The best section to be in was the drug rehab dorm or cells. It was funded to help anyone charged with drug crimes to rehabilitate and could look good to the judge. No one messed around in that section because you only went there to look good on your papers. They also had people from AA and NA come in to speak so it broke up the monotony of the time.

@@DoomFinger511 the entire prison system needs to be improved we wouldnt even have all these people locked up if our drug laws werent so old and outdated. At my current dealership, the top salesman again, is a drug addict and dealer (meth) and he has no license because it was suspended and the dealership doesn't care and even let's him still drive the dealership cars lol. The best drug dealers are the best salesman. I've been in the car business now for, 8 years and at I've been at, 5 different dealerships and at everyone, the Top salesman was/is a dealer and or addict as well. Ha. It's a widely known inside fact that the car business is full of drug dealers and addicts. Dealerships put up with it because they are the best salesman usually like, 95% of the time. At my current dealership, the top salesman again, is a drug addict and dealer (meth) and he has no license because it was suspended and the dealership doesn't care and even let's him still drive the dealership cars lol. He sells at least 20 cars a month and half the time sells 26 cars a month. Makes on average, 12k a month and is always broke at the end of every month lol

I have input I can contribute if needed. You rule

Moral of the story, become a high up criminal defense attorney! Because they are the ones who get a nasty legal paycheck, plus they have a network of other kick ass attorneys and relationships with da's, ada's and judges who will let you slide on grey areas where a civilian would be washed! Sounds like fat man gorszki ran the bag up just as much as a high level dealer. Love the format, and your story telling ability, keep it up!

He's absolutely right. I got locked up for boarder hoping during covid (going from one state to another) if I wanted to fight the charge and plead not guilty I would have had to wait locked up remanded in custody for 3 months just to face trail. If I pleaded guilty the most I would get was 2 weeks. So of course you choose to plead guilty. They wouldn't let me out on bail because I was deemed a flight risk. So now I have a permanent record and had to spend two weeks in prison. Lucky I was in isolation and didn't have to go through any of the shit He's talking about. The Australian court system is just the same.
