Omg great second halo video, honestly my favourite halo game. Mainly due to me playing this soooo much when I was younger but I shall stand by my bias. Thank You So Much! I appreciate that you noticed how much I go into the development of the games I talk about, its an under sung aspect in reviews. Though admitably I wont be talking too much of the development for Halo 3. Thankfully it had a relatively problem free dev cycle, except for one or two aspects.

Hear me out, while in a vaccum the cut Miranda betrayal subplot sounds ridiculous it actually fits very nicely into parallels/differences between the chief & arbiters storylines. After the intro cutscenes Arbiter is explicitly sent on suicide missions & is effectively sold out by his higer ups only to the disadvantage of the Covenant itself. What would be up with the Chief in this cut subplot? Well, he'd have a bomb strapped to his armor which is explicitly a suicide mission & given Miranda made a deal with the prophets I'd categorize that as selling out the chief only to the disadvantage of the UNSC itself. Im glad we didn't get that & it was cut, but I must say I can see what they were thinking & on paper it actually sounds kinda clever to me when paralleled with the arbiters storyline.
