I am glad you did the video, because as you know, sometimes the people may need clarification especially the youth who may not be aware of the principles of the religion or a statement that may require more clarity because it may appear ambiguous. Those who know or follow you may put things in the the most positive light or in light of other statements you have made to carry the most succinct and positive meaning; however at times a person's statement may require more clarity and the intended meaning of the statement from the one who said it. Muneer has other major errors as well, did you see his debate in speakers corner? It was awful to be honest, he fell into a major error in Aqeedah akhi. Furthermore, what error in aqqedah exactly has muneer made exactly? so, funny story. i used to heavily watch muslims preach on speakers corner in the UK. among the regulars i enjoyed seeing were, brothers: mansur, mohamed hijab, hashim and shamsi. during one video splurge, i happened upon a video wherein shamsi cautioned his viewers to be wary of who they take their religion from. in that vein, he went on to recommend names of present day scholars - one of whom happened to be moosa richardson. although i used to admire shamsi in the beginning, his nigh routine and rather shocking habit of declaring other muslims as misguided (through various appellations / labels) quickly put me on alert. my observations into his mannerisms in preaching and debating also led me to conclude that he was parroting a lot of information - his methodology is quite linear and simple. intrigued, i set off to find one of his teacher's -- moosa richardson. when i youtube'd his name, this video popped up. bc i was pressed for time, without listening to this video nor properly reading the title, i assumed YOU were moosa richardson, lol. a week thereafter went by and i started having doubts about my method of prayer. i again youtube'd the issue and sure enough came upon your video. this time around i had due time to watch the video. i was surprised. i loved your mannerisms and etiqette bc they centered on unity and camradarie. however i was absolutely bewildered: how can the teacher and student be so different! without saying more i figured out the puzzle. my little silly story. and, i want to add that i really respect and love you as a brother and teacher. may Allah swt honor you. When some people aren't busy working on their own hearts and personal development and putting forth hunsal dhunn by default, Shaytaan amuses them by trying to boldly make ta'weel of the niyyat of others and seeking faults in others without thorough examination of anyone from a multi-dimensional perspective. Too many straw-man arguments of bloggers these days seeking discord and disunity among the people of knowledge without any real hajjah to even make jarh wa ta'deel in the first place. Why is it that people want to find blame by default, rather than reluctantly feel compelled to help others in the least abusive, the least damaging and the least dishonouring method in all cases and with all Muslims? What service to Islam is this? May Allah help us to unify the Muslims on the teachings that are qati'iyyat, and to seek unity on common teachings of the faith and to be much more lenient on issues that are dhuniyyat in nature. On a side note: We do need to look at political injustice locally and globally on systematic level. The global political issues has way more to do with the puppet ruler partnerships that led to monarchal and dictatorship governments in the first place that originally tried to divide up the last unified khilafah that lasted until 100 years ago, up until the month of Rajab. For example, we have plenty of scholars and common Muslims that are striving to end the oppression within places around the world (such as Palestine), but the lack of mobility of ending injustice is mainly being halted by the puppet rulers who are bed with other oppressors, not the Muslims (knowledgeable and semi-knowledgable) below them. Al-hamdulilah, most of the Muslims are not trying to normalize oppression or trying to lick the bootstraps of the oppressors. Let's all be sure we don't aid any form of oppression, local or global, rather we only call out clear forms of oppression and only when it is clear.

just one thing regarding what you said "my friends don't need it and my enemies won't believe it" - this idea is against sunnah, Prophet alayhissalaam was once taking His wife radiAllahu anhaa from masjid to home during i'tikaaf and when sahaba saw it, they turned their faces, sahaba didn't need to know, it was Prophet of Allah yet Prophet of Allah CLARIFIED it to them that she is his wife (salalahu alayhi wassalam). Similarly when Prophet Yusuf alyhissalaam sent back the messenger of the king so he gets his name cleared before released from prison.. same thing. You need to clear things. don't take these words of kuffaar and say "lost property of a believer" it's not our lost property, we have our ways!
