I have been waiting a long time until I feel confident enough to arrange this song, because it's simply the most universally recognized Anime song of all time. I think my current arrangement style in 2020 is able to bring out the best of this piece, so I finally took the chance to arrange it for this week's upload. Thank you everyone for listening! With every key he presses it makes me feel something. This is something many other pianist's on this platform lack. Man, what a high energy and groovy arrangement from start to finish. Had me singing ZANNNKOOOKUUUUU from the get go. Absolutely fantastic. A quick and unconventional start with the sparkling 2 hand arpeggios, imitating the resonating opening choir. Caught me by surprise. It then immediately cuts into the groovy LH bass line before cutting to the softer first chorus. The rolling RH melody pattern at 1:35 gets reused multiple times (3:29), something i don't usually see, but it serves well to reiterate the high energy chanting mood. What a mood at 1:43. Gave me a Bios sort of vibe with the rolling 16th lower voice. I love the slow build-up of this extended "bridge" section directly into the second chorus. The continuous rolling 16th pattern is heard again in a different form in the build-up to the third chorus (2:58). The syncopated chromatic (e.g. 1:11) pickups add such a lovely jazzy flavor and contribute so well to the grooviness of the bass line. My favorite "feature" by far in this piece. There is quite a nuanced touch at 2:29 in making the RH harmony sparkle, and it is much harder to accomplish than it sounds. kudos on that. Similarly, i love how the higher voice harmony sparkles at 3:37 It's quite refreshing to take a break from the usual 3 chorus song structure, and I enjoyed listening to the extra variations, especially the triplet feel at 4:26 No matter what your current style is, I always have been and will continue to be blown away at the creative and interesting ideas that you are able to conjure up. Thank you for sharing!

if you are playing at a beginner or intermediate player then finding a good teacher is important. If you truly wish to play pieces like this then classical training for at least several years. One who is self taught from the beginning and actually achieve a lvl that can play this reasonably well is something like 1/10000. This is because a teacher will give the best ways to practice, best method would then translate to higher efficiency and no injuries and thats only technical side. Musically one also needs years to develop as well. Most importantly as a semi pro pianist myself it is very important to practice with the right technique, otherwise very serious injuries could occur with tendors when you practice for anymore than few hours day. This is especially true for pieces that have the technical lvl of this piece or beyond

But it isnt even just the speed and accuracy. The dynamics also are just perfect in every song he plays. I can feel the song which is so much more than I can say about so many other KZbin pianists
