I appreciate the explanation of how these systems work with visuals. If you want to recreate the original sound you can pick an old Electro-mechanical pinball machine for cheap and use its components to run relay sequences in a predictable manner... The core "processor" will be a disk like device that rotates actuating numerous switches rapidly.
