My favorite bit in the movie (aside from The Banana Boat Song scene): Adam: What are your qualifications? Beetlejuice: Ah. Well...I attended Juilliard. I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through The Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen The Exorcist about *167 times, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT!!!! NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT YOU'RE TALKING TO A DEAD GUY!!!!* Now what d'ya think? Ya think I'm qualified?"

Classic ❤ There is also a cartoon where Beetlejuice and Lydia are best friends and go on wacky adventures together. It was a lot of fun . It ran for 4 seasons and even won an emmy for outstanding animated program

His name is spelled Betelgeuse because he is named after the star and that is how it's spelled. Juno is also the name of an asteroid and the planet they go to(well, the moon) with the sandworms is Saturn. And in the sequel the only destination the Soul Train goes to that is on time and not delayed is "The Great Beyond" Strongly hinting that "the afterlife/neitherworld" is in outerspace and thusthe reason Betelgeuse is so powerful is because the star he gets his name from is Hell and all the souls trapped there because he is described as a "demon". Drawing inspiration from the 1908 poem Betelgeuse: A Journey Through Hell. But Tim Burton didnt think it would market well because people wouldnt know how to pronounce it so they changed the spelling to Beetlejuice for marketing.

This is one of the first movies I ever saw and it's probably the reason why I've always been drawn to weird movies. I liked the sequel but nowhere near as much as this one.

I'm writing that my name is Josh and i've been reading online that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will have an official 4K HD digital release on Tuesday October 8,, 2024. the digital release will also include special features including a second version of Beetlejuice Beetlejcuice with an audio commentary by Tim Burton. this means that everybody at home can do first time watching videos for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice beginning on Tuesday October 8, 2024. I can confirm that there won't be deleted or extended scenes included on the 4K Bluray and DVD release on Tuesday November 19, 2024. that might be the exact same day that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice becomes available to stream on MAX.
