Canola has a better fat ratio than olive.

@@andrewjackson9417 even if it does have a better fat ratio, whatever that means, it doesn't mean it is a good oil. canola is an artificial plant made from rapeseed, and most of the crops are gmo! Its highly refined and doesn't contain anti-oxidants found in non-refined oils. Its high in omega 6 and low in omega 3, leading to inflammation. So yeah, I'll take olive over canola anyday!

You can always run the carton under some warm water or place it in a bowl full of lukewarm water.

It doesn't become soggy, but it doesn't stay crispy. The cones become a bit soft, but not soggy. :)

I forwarded this recipe to my grand-daughter who made it for her 2 girls (our 2 great-grand girls) for their birthday which they celebrate together. I thought it would be great for their birthday party but my grand-daughter told me that she fallowed the recipe to the T and it was a big flop,she was so disappointed. She doesn’t know what went wrong and she is not a novice when it comes to baking and I wonder if she possibly over filled them because she said it made a big mess in her oven. 🤔

That poor lonely stand mixer... I bet it's bowl is full of tears. 😂 Every time you crack open an egg I think of your chickens and my daughter who tells me she now has 42 chickens! I'm thinking that's a lot of eggs for just two people. But I can't say much since I encouraged her to get her first chickens. Her goal is to have eggs in every shade they come in. I guess it's good to have goals. ;-)

On the contrary, I think the stand mixer is enjoying its break. She's a baker so I'm sure at 1 point it was pulling overtime shifts lol. As for your daughter's chickens' eggs, she can always donate them to food shelters or charity kitchens. Or bake with them and share or sell the treats.

😂 the mixer does appreciate the break, I think, she’s just dramatic for camera😉 42 is a lot, good for her! I love that goal 😆 I just got 14 more so I’m hoping once they start laying (not for a while) I’ll get enough eggs from my flock and will stop having to borrow from my parents. We will see!
