Studio AFK i couldnt help but notice you kept using the popup color wheel, you can find a colorwheels you can put on your photoshop window. As an extention ofcourse, if you dont know look up tutorials, it is VERY useful and makes the work flow alot faster

Did you do this with a drawing pad? If so, how much are they typically?

This was done with a Wacom Cintiq 24 HD and they can be quite expensive... but the simpler Wacom Intuos tablets are around $100,-/$200,- and also work fine.
