Hello Stephen, Another wonderful video. I am from Athens Greece and we were on a lock down for almost a year due to Covid. During this challenging time I did the same with you, My husband and I everyday we went hiking for two hours in Ymitos', a very beautiful mountain close to where I live in Athens. I would take photos of nature and I would collect beautiful plants and branches and then I will incorporate them into my mixed media work. This was my Covid therapy, ha, ha. So when I saw your video; that you were saying that you were taking nature walks during Covid lock down the video resonated with me. Keep enjoying your walks and your beautiful art and let's hope that things will get better soon. If you like I can send you couple of my art work from my nature walks during Covid. lock down.

I enjoyed watching! The cyanotype with the leaves turned out beautiful I especially love the detail, color and that they weren’t stark white. I’ve never tried vinegar (but will), I have used walnut ink and turmeric mixed with water.

I love your beautiful ethereal images and videos!!! You’re inspirational. Did my first cyanotype today!!! Needs a bit more time in sun tomorrow. What do you use as your backing board?

wonderful video! May I know why you leave your work so long in the sun? when do you expose your work during the day?

Hi Stephen, thank you so much for doing these videos they're very clear with great instruction and the perfect length of time. Can I ask why you use the vinegar spray?
@roachbasher3 жыл бұрын
The vinegar gives the print extra contrast and brings out other tones of colour like green and gold .every print is experimental have fun in using different substances and see what you achieve .

Hi Steve, I really enjoy these instructional videos and your creativity. I hope you do some more soon! A couple of questions for you. Would sheets of acrylic work as well as glass to flatten and hold the layers together? Do you recommend either sun or UV for making good cyanotypes? If UV which product do you like? Thanks again and how about a few more videos? Wendy

Hi Wendy I think they would work yes

Do you do anything after rubbing the wax on? Does it make the image sticky or does it harden? How does framing work with wax on the print? Thank you!
@roachbasher2 жыл бұрын
