Prompted by an online discussion with ‪@JoshuaKennedy321‬ I plugged my Behringer Model D into the Charcot Circles sequencer and explored the neat sounds that came out. There were a couple occurences of unpleasant sounds, so I clipped those out. Also, at the end I pushed one button too many and couldn't figure out how to rescue the jam. So I just turned it off. So this is a recording of a safari that yielded no grand captures - just tiny moments of interesting sound.

Sounds like time percolating through a vortex bouncing of jelly like structures to give that rubber band sound. Love it

Interesting how it went from sparkly to rubbery to melted. Almost makes me think of being in my grandfather's watch shop and listening to them all ticking.

I do love playing with the logic settings in Pamela's Workout, the way a simnple rhythm change can shift the mood from funky to wonky. I reviewed the last few seconds of the video and was amused to see my hand pausing as if I was thinking, "Hmm, can I save this? No."

Can't quite grasp the technical aspect of the experiment, but I totally love the result! it creates a kind of imperfectly synchronized counterpoint that sounds very very cool!! Also, I actually really enjoyed the last part when things started going haywire, would have loved to see how this could have developped further, the effect was quite interesting!

Now that I've had some time to listen, I do agree that the last few minutes were more interesting than I originally thought. I should have kept recording! This was one of those moments when I found an interesting sequence and simply turned on the camera. I haven't really explored the Model D fully so I was just pushing buttons and flipping switches.
