'Ayup everyone. Just came here to say that I appreciate all the attention this video is getting. But I request you to watch my other videos in addition to this, to sort of balance out the view counts. And if you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate it if you subscribe if you like what you see. That's all. :)

I don't know, the song doesn't really match the chart in my opinion. For all the official songs there's a clear beat or melody that you can identify and match to your taps, but I don't really hear anything like that with this chart.

This level looks like a official crown level. I dont mind the final part since it seems like the official levels are fine with higher speeds. That said, 90 degree turns in combination with It Go speed means that the level might need a tutorial telling you to start using 4 keys at once. "Have we been using 2 keys up to this point?" "Well if we have, now's probably the time to use 4 keys!"
@PlayMakeReview6 ай бұрын
You know what, I should have probably added this tutorial into the level, that's a good idea! Might do that the next time I make a level as hard as this one.

looks cool tho I cant quite read the rhythm in those squiggly patterns and that last rush through squigglies seems pretty unbalanced compared to rest, tbh kinda makes me not wanna even give it a try : ( but overall rest looks very dope, I love the sections where you just need to feel the rhythm and keep it while various effects make it hard to see and stuff also maybe a nitpick but that a whole lot of tutorials good luck if you will go on to create more :3 forgot to add that the checkpoint placement seems cool
@PlayMakeReview6 ай бұрын
Ah, thanks for the criticism! Might bear these things in mind for my next level! Also, the massive number of tutorials was kinda necessary, in some aspects. There's so many independent patterns in the level, and quite a lot of gimmicky things I needed to slowly warm the player into. And the third part WAS intended to just amplify the difficulty a tad, and not make the level seem stale. P.S. Yes, I will DEFINITELY be making more levels in the future. I just need to find a song that I'd like to do.

@@PlayMakeReview (I put sorry at the end but I guess begining is better place, Im a bit sleep-drunk, so I couldn't stop my yapping) thinking about it some of the criticism might be bc of a different approach. your level especially with the speedy part at the end seems advanced enough that a player that can clear it would be fine being thrown right into action with no tutorials (I also believe that learning the patterns on the real deal and having a possibility of continuing to challenge next pattern, and thats also what they are likely to be accustomed to by the amount of tutorial less fanmade maps they beat) as for using a last pattern an insane burst to avoid the level being stale, on second thought its understandable, and a lot of levels do similar things, but usually the vibe of the song changes as well, It might be a case that level felt stale bc you focused a lot on making separate pattern groups that consisted of same pattern back to back to back to back, and that in itself isn't bad, but it becomes almost the whole level, you can for example look at the left most official crown level, it uses repeating patterns a lot, but at the end it throws curve ball, and makes every iteration of the 3-square pattern slightly different. also I advice you to use the direction changers and midspins to spice up the gameplay gimmickwise (make each repeating pattern play the same but look differently to keep freshness of it) and at this skill level you could casually slip in some pseudos to spice up the technical aspect of the gameplay. all of this are just my thoughts when thinking about what makes lot of levels feel nice to play and what can be considered a con. so there might be some bias there, but overall when creating I sometimes go by a diffrent logic, "if you make a bad aspect the main gimmick of the chart, it can become a good aspect in the end". sorry Im a bit sleep-drunk, my blabbering is out of control.

@@saintvina I'll probably take this into consideration the next time I create a hard level, I appreciate it! I have planned that the next level will be moderately easy, though, but I will make another hard level in the future! I do suppose though, that all of this could also be used for that easier level. I'll still bear it in mind though. Thanks!

I really liked it, honestly better made than my charts (I only make goofy levels on purpose, cuz I cant do an actual normal map, it would be bad) even if I have 1800 hours (referring to that guy who put the curse of ra on you (altough he was right in hearing one of the tutorial levels desync, idk why is that)) Im more of a player/enjoyer of hard maps ;3
@PlayMakeReview6 ай бұрын
To be fair, he/she was right on the tutorial music desyncing at times. I work with Online Sequencer to make tutorial soundtracks for the level, and in some cases it's really hard to properly place the notes in a way that would be synced with the level. And for the thing about you saying you can't do a normal map because it would be bad, maybe one thing you could do is try and get a feel for what the rhythm and melody is for the song. Then you can start off by syncing it, and afterwards adjust the chart in a way that seems original and not just plain sync. Still have sync in there, just not the entire level.

well, this chart is just straight up bad. i don't really like saying things like this, because it doesn't offer any insight as to *why* the chart is bad, which is why i'm going to analyze your video and describe to you what is wrong about your chart. you seem like a new player, so you'll probably just get better the more you chart, but still take this into consideration so you don't make this mistake on other levels. i won't really comment on the effects of the level, since it just seems very barebones and the main reason why this map is so bad in the first place is because of the charting. i see that you have tutorial levels before the main level. when charting a song, before you even get started charting it, you should take into consideration what your goal is for the chart. i.e, "i want to make a high level tech chart," or "i want to make a classic level chart targeted for beginners." i'm assuming you want to do the latter, (which is hard to tell because of the charting of this level, it feels like you just did random things..) so my first issue is immediately with the tutorial, because you're charting nothing. i see why that is, because in the main level there's a percussion line in the background (which is also charted wrong), but it's not in the tutorial level, so you're seemingly charting nothing. this also applies to the next 4 tutorial levels, since it's just seemingly overcharting nothing. for the next 4 tutorial levels, your bpm is too low so that it desyncs with the song, and you actually had the opposite problem here of undercharting the song for no reason, which is a odd choice considering this doesn't help balance the chart at all and just makes it more unbalanced as a result. the third part of the song is.. horrific, considering it just exacerbates the problems i mentioned earlier about overcharting and overall chart balance. there was also no tutorial for this section of the song, which is a very high difficulty spike, so it doesn't make sense as to why there wasn't one? i understand that it was the same pattern, but honestly even as a player with over 1700 hours in this game, i can't think about how to play that mess. even if it is the same pattern as before, it doesn't match up to the song at all with the 2x speed multiplier, so i have no idea why you decided to do that, since it just makes the chart harder for no reason. i have no idea why you decided to put a random pause tile in the middle of that straight line near the end with absolutely no marking whatsoever, it's impossible to read. you should most likely start with something easier if you want to create a decent chart, because this is definitely too hard for you, and you had no idea what you were doing throughout the whole thing. i also have a few charts of my own (which are tech based) on my channel if you want to see an example of a decent chart.
