A Dance with Astarion | Baldur's Gate 3 | Waltz Scene

I always wished romancing with Astarion gave us a little dance scene, but mods made it happen. Here's my Tav and Astarion doing waltz ❤️
P.S I used the Ring of Metamorph mod (www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate...) and swapped Wyll for Astarion

​@@AreeshFlower true I hope too that more couple options comes later like you want a hug or ask you partner to cuddle with you in the night or ask for sex talk with them about the future (kids, marrying) and little other things that when you don't act with them a long time ago or just use sex that they don't like you anymore later

My one gripe with swapping Wyll out with Astarion is that the two of them emote so differently that Astarion doesn't feel like himself. I wish we could have a unique dance scene with various companions.

TT it would be nice to be able to dance with him endgame. He's Mr fancy pants especially if ascended. My Tav would find a waltz romantic and intimate , she doesn't need stuff just a little attention.

It’s only for Wyll. I used mods to turn Wyll into Astarion

Idk it feels icky to replace Wyll in this scene. As much as I'd like to dance with Astarion, it really fits Wyll better and I wish he got more recognition as a character. I feel like he's one of the most neglected and it's a shame because he's such a positive representation in an industry that already is underrepresented as far as characters with darker skin. :/

People attach themselves more to characters that resonate with them I think. Astarion is hugely popular with people who have been abused or traumatized, or so I have observed in myself and peers. I just can't connect to Wyll, he feels like an alien, precisely because he is so healthy.

Personally, I don't think we should bring representation into this. I am a person of colour, yet I love Astarion and feel connected to him more than any other character because of the depth of his character. I understand his pain, I can relate to his trauma, I understand why he acts the way he does. Wyll is a great character, but to me his personality seems dull in comparison to Astarion. The only interaction I liked with Wyll was this dance, and knowing Astarion's backstory before he became a vampire, it made sense to me that he must've learned waltzing since he was a magistrate, which means he must be of a noble background and he must've moved with the high society. BG3 has great characters though, and everyone has their own favourites :)

I get not wanting to write out a character for feel of losing representation, but in the case of Wyll, it has less to do with his appearance and all to do with him having a very lack luster romance compared to other companions. The dance scene is the highlight.

That's a point to love him or why I love him because you understand him like when he smiles the pain away always because that's his armor with his sweet arrogance that's why I love to see that sadly I didn't know how I can get this mod 😅 but I doesn't mean wyll I not good I like wyll but more like a best friend

So much better wirh Astarion. Wyll's scene always makes me uncomfortable because I never give him any reason to think I'm interested, and I'm in a relationship with Astarion. He just comes up and forces me into this incredibly awkward scene without my consent 😂😂😂
