How close could Jon Con and Rhaegar have been? Jon Con doesn’t seem to know anything about the Lyanna situation. I know he was in Kings landing, but he also doesn’t seem to be in the loop about the whole prophecy thing and Rhaegar seemed pretty obsessed with it so it’s weird he wouldn’t have mentioned it to Jon if they were best friends. I think Jon Con thought much more of their friendship than Rhaegar most likely did.

Short for fake aegon. Theory being he is not actually baby aegon saved from kings landing but a planted trained imposter possibly of blackfyre stock possibly the child of liena and rhaegar. There's a lot of travels recorded around the travel of joy and imo ned did a baby switch to protect a prince to mirror johns switch at the wall.

I love the JonCon chapters. It's a wonderful portrayal of the downcast lord as a soldier. The regrets, the trauma, the grim determination, lost loves and anger. I think he's a great analogue for other characters in similar situations such as Jorah (who JonCon is remarkably similar to)

Yeah no. Stannis only had a few hundred starving men and was 🤏🏼this close to surrendering the castle when the siege was finally lifted which wouldn’t have happened if Robert wasn’t around to win the war. Stannis either surrenders the castle, has the gate opened by mutineers, or starves to death a couple of months later. Regardless, he was in a hopeless situation (no matter how many onions our boy Davos smuggles in for him)

Tywin is a thousand percent the type to present a random child with a crushed skull as a targaryen as we see he sent Dorne a random skull in place of Gregors head before tyrion killed him Verys is also smart enough to not put all his eggs in one basket and just group the children he did save together with Illyrio plus the amount Joncon talks about how much he loved Raeghar i dont think he would lie to put a pretender on the throne

Anyway no Tywin would get coocked when Eddard's host arrived. And Tywin isn+'t some great strategist, that is just mummer's farce raised by fans.
