I do have to admit that this was one time a sitcom didn't completely " walk in a rut " carved out by other sitcoms before it. This must have been late in this series run as other episodes that I have seen had a short intro by Betty.

The original concept for the series focused on Vicki Angel's inner fantasy life, portraying her in dream situations. The Plymouth Dealers demanded that be dropped, as they wanted a more traditional sitcom.

This show needed that couple on more often; they were more entertaining than the two leads. And the endings were usually too saccharine, but it WAS the fifties.
