@@Lure-Benson yes I know about that, in the medieval time a powerful state called *Rus* or sometimes *Rus’land* developed to what today is Ukraine, and Russia as we know today was *not* part of that powerful state. In 840 Scandinavian Vikings who’re known among the many different Slavic tribes and the *Vikings specific to this area and time period are referred to Varangians or Rus* The Varangians (the Rus) established certain rules over the many different Slavic tribes, and from my understanding all the tribes who previously had been fighting with each other, was now a part of what in history is called “Kievan Rus”, and the region was initially divided between three brothers, Rurik, Sineus, and Truvor. I can’t recall on the top of my head the whole “shabang” about the Viking called *Viking Prince Oleg* but he too existed. I honestly feels like yes this is part of the history but I sense a lot of the true history also have found their way into people who creatively took the truth and created exiting myth’s, because the presence of the Varangians Vikings , also we should remember that they were *merchant-warriors* who after decades of trades in Eastern Europe more or less became inhabitants of the Eastern Europe, = they were more Eastern Europeans at this time, than they were inhabitants of Scandinavian countries. The Varangians helped found the powerful medieval federation in territories we today know as Ukraine, and even parts of today’s Belarus, Russia, it was a loose federation of principalities and they called it Kievan Rus ( *as previously mentioned, the Vikings who arrived in this area was called Varangians which translates into Rus* )this federation survived for about 400 years, before it collapsed in the 13th-century. I apologize if my comment is messy but I’ve tried my best to make sense of the information I’d access to at the top of my head. I see this and question the rules for medics. I have 25 years medic and combat experience and was turned back because of age. I think Ukraine needs medics now more than ever so why reduce the age to 46? Makes me so sad when i could be on front lines helping.

@@marianaibrahim5037 There is a limited amount that the West can do without risking WW3. Things that cannot be done are - Ground troops frm Nato nations. Nato aircraft shooting down Ru aircraft. The severe cold of the Ukr winter and the disorganised state of Ru logistics may help the defenders greatly over the next four months.

Or for the NATO members MAY BE they will step in. As you see, I start to believe the Russian propaganda about the weak NATO. 2. NATO steps in. This may stop them. They are as a bully who is finally attacked. Or not. Why boots on the ground and attack of the airplanes in Ukraine means a WW3? Russia is not attacked. If Taiwan is attacked, US will interfere with boots on the ground? This will not be WW3? If russia wins the attack on Taiwan is sure. To be clear, I am from Romania, neighbour of Ukraine and NATO member. I fully support Ukraine. With NATO I start to have doubts. Not to give Ukrainians all the help they need: long range weapons, air defence systems etc . was a bad idea from the first. We should not leave an independent country, in Europe to go through what is happening there now.

The medical treatment for both sides is pretty damn scary, though I think the Ukrainians are doing the very best they can with what they have and do try. The Russians.... a wound is a death sentence unless the Ukrainians find and treat you. So used to seeing large medical complexes and swarms of helicopters used by western armies to care for the wounded within minutes (maybe hours in rare instances) of being hit.

Watching footage from this war has imprinted in me how fortunate my life truly has been & continues to be, despite the adversities lived.
