It´s a great place for an airbase just 100kms/60mi from the Ukrainian border. Constanta airport only has very limited passenger flights (Turkish Airlines to IST and Wizzair to London LTN). So, as room for expansion is availlable and low population density immediately around the airport this all makes sense having a NATO-airbase right at the black sea and close to Ukraine. ... and soldiers from the base can enjoy some beach time during off-time.

As an American who speaks Russian, and frequently speaks to Russians online, these comments are awful & heart breaking to read. For the most part, majority of Russian people have been brainwashed by their Z government, and the ones who defy are heavily punished for daring to speak out. They are trapped. Russians are scared to talk because these street interviews get people arrested daily... We don't shame North Koreans for living in tyranny, we shame Kim Jong Un... To a lesser degree, its the same with China and Russia. Stop shaming their people, all people of the world are the same. Its our governments who fight. Its sad some of the nonsense you all are saying so broadly about their people, when you so confidently know nothing about humanities or geopolitics, beyond sensational posts & headlines. Shame on you all. Where is your compassion...? Speak with Russian migrants/tourists in America, they're just as normal as anyone else. My Russian-American teacher constantly shit talks Putin's regime, and he lived it first hand for twenty years.

Find it really funny how if you don’t want your country sending equipment that was made and paid for by your taxes to another country you’re somehow pro- other whatever country. As if choosing the neutrality option is somehow for one country and against the other. Like I can hope that Ukraine wins but I can also be against my tax dollars being consistently being sent or used solely for another country. The longer the war lasts the more money all of us will have to spend and we sure know no other country is actually going to get fully involved to hasten the wars end. I want Ukraine to win but I don’t like my taxes going to there government so I’m somehow pro-Russian the dumbest logic I’ve ever seen.

It’s the US that wants to keep this war going dude. You don’t think Washington politicians aren’t benefiting from the huge contracts their defence industries are getting? Focus on that. Ukraine is nothing but a proxy war for the US to kill Russians using dead Ukrainians. Disgusting.

I heard a diplomat say "Bombs aren't free" when Zielinski asked Europe for help. Of course they're not as the Ukrainian soldiers and people are paying with their BLOOD. So either give them the weapons they need or you'll be sending your own people against Russia.
