Thumbs up and love from Pakistan. ❤️ In Pakistan, there is not even a single (Government) Zoo which can match up the standard of this zoo except some Private Safari Parks around the Lahore. 🔥 Mysore zoo is probably the only zoo in our country which takes care of the animals like no other. I have been to a few zoo's and I can guarantee that. You feel very close to nature there. Mysuru Zoo has a special corner in our hearts. Been here as a boy for the first time from school in Bangalore and since then, endless journeys to the zoo. Mysuru kings were really pro-people. Their initiatives to bring up the state are praiseworthy. Mrugalaya or Mysuru zoo is the noblest of all. Thank you team for taking us to yonder days.

I last visited the zoo in 1948 as a child when at that time I had the pleasure to see a (albino)white elephant.My grand Uncle Mr. Royale had been a veterinarian in the horses and elephants stables during the installation of the Rajas private zoo. His picture I saw that was put up in the office room that he occupied during his tenure at the stables.

I have been to this zoo and believe me it is so large that it will take at least 6 to 7 hrs for you to roam around and have a proper look at the animals. We were running out of time and had to give just 2 hrs to this exceptional zoo. But now I am happy coz of this video. Brilliant documentary! Hats off 😊

I would rate it 10/10..I have visited it once...it will take time to walk around and watch all those animals and birds... The day I reached their...they had brought a new tiger, it was sleeping...think it was sedated..and there was another one too in a cage, her name was - Manya - still remembering the name... The snake park is also a great one

Excellent documentary . I recently visited mysuru zoo and loved it right from the entrance. Green, clean, and welcoming. But getting to know the effort that goes in maintaining it, raises my respect and love for it even more. I had been to a zoo in Pune some 6-7 years ago, there I saw the tiger was eating grass and was quite thin. And in 2016 I visited this mysuru zoo and I could actually see the difference. The animals looked far more healthier in mysuru. Was so happy to see them in such good condition. I think all the other zoos in our country need to learn how to maintain animals in a zoo from the Mysuru Zoo.

I lived in Mysuru from 1958-1962 attending middle and high schools. One of the most memorable experience was on November 14th, the Childrens' Day. All school children could visit the Zoo free! At the exit they would give us each a mithai. Yet another day in the year it was free was on the birthday of the maharaja of Mysuru (who wan no longer a king but had become Rajapramukh in democratic India). Again we would end the visit on a sweet note. This time the mithai was from the palace. The documentary did stir some pleasant memories. Thank you.
