Apart from the really good content of your videos, one thing I really liked is that how you have properly followed all the video ethics while shooting this video. It is a matter of great appreciation because very few people talk about and follow the concept of ethics while shooting KZbin. Anyone who'll be watching this video with a little concentration will notice how ethical ideas are being properly kept in mind during shooting. Excellent work!! 👌

@@DesiAmericanProfessor Sir actually there are some subtle moments in your video which reflects that you keep shooting ethics in mind while making viedo- for eg:- blurring the face of those people who are not the part of this video, muting the audio for a sec when the student was disclosing his grades to you etc. are some of the key moments.

When I heard the term "RA" in your video, I immediately paused the video to research about ISB RA application process. Thankfully, they take BTech graduates as well. So I'm aiming for RA position there after my BTech, & then a PhD in USA. Your channel will definitely remain a guide for the coming years. Thank You very much for this video & keep posting more.

Though you asked the professor, please allow me to present some thoughts on the matter based on my personal experiences and research in USA. The biggest problem of students going to USA for studies is their medical care. Many take crappy medical insurances and might get stuck in USA. The internship and Green card situation is also very bad in USA for Masters candidates. If you don't have lots of money to spend on foreign education like Indian millionaires, I wish your son tries hard to get into one of India's prestigious universities like ISB, IIM, IISc, IITs etc. Also career and marriage is easy to manage if your diabetic son is in India rather than in USA...

As is, there are a lot of local people America who are experts in English and have PhDs in English from America struggling to get opportunities. So for a foreigner for who English is not the first language and has a PhD in English from a non-English speaking country, it is very difficult if not impossible to get an opportunity here.

Though you asked professor, please kindly allow me to present some thoughts on doctors with MBAs. If a doctor has intentions to start a medical conglomerate or has intentions to work for one like Apollo, Fortis, Manipal, Medinova, Piramal, Kamineni etc.etc. in administrative capacity then maybe it helps doctor with an MBA. Some doctors do an MBA and join administration at pharma and biotech companies also because such companies require knowledgeable staff for sales, clinical trials, drug approvals etc. Also a doctor with MBA will have better insights to run medical colleges though some degree related to tertiary education may have similar effect there.

@kalgandikota7752
@kalgandikota7752 2 жыл бұрын
Hrithikji, The solution to India’s brain drain problem is not forcibly convincing educated talent to reluctantly stay back in India. That will dampen their creativity at work. The intent to stay back in India must be circumstantial or practical and cannot be innate or emotional. Graduating Indian students don't have enough opportunities to find challenging internships in India and that's the biggest problem although lack of world-class research labs with super-computers is also a big issue. What would an Indian graduate do in India without support, mentorship or access to required materials of research? In India, as soon as someone tells anything scientific for common good involving teamwork, many in South Asia go through their checklist of discriminatory ideologies subliminally to trust, comprehend and discuss about same. By discriminatory ideologies, I mean religion, caste, race, last-name, tribe, sect, clan, cult, creed, language, region, direction of region(N/S/E/W), last name, pin code, language, skin-color, hair-color, eye-color, gender (women including LGBTQ), media, NGO, business, any Government institution, dress habits, food habits, exercise habits etc. Only when all Intellectuals of all discriminatory ideologies align towards the same ultimate goal of their country’s Development ONLY then there will be peace, progress, prosperity and happiness in their countries. There is a truth to reservations because when a rich man cannot get seat in India’s reputed Universities, they’ll go to other countries for studies. Instead of increasing universities on par with population of India, the Indian political leaders are putting fight between various castes and religions of India with the system of reservations. Instead they must increase the number of universities so that every one of all castes and religions has highest degrees in their hands. That will reduce the effect of reservations on meritorious students and also reduce the friction of jativad prevalent among youth now. We must all contemplate which is better for nation, unemployed-uneducated or unemployed-educated? Only when people are uneducated, that's when they give excuses and engage in brute-force politics more due to lack of better career opportunities. However if they are educated with graduate and post-graduate degrees, then even though unemployed, majority of them may ultimately strive to be entrepreneurs, join civil services like IAS, IPS or armed forces, become politicians, go to foreign countries etc. thus ensuring India will also have sustainable democracy and develop in Fourth Industrial Revolution on par with other developed nations if not USA. When the nation is going through such turmoil, why would any smart Indian to be in the middle of that mess but only seek refuge in developed nations because then we will be able to properly educate as many Indian youth screaming for help as possible. Once the grass-roots change, then politicians will also automatically adjust and help India become developed nation. Since 2014, I do see many changes happening in India but that’s not as fast as the developments happening in China. You see the power of China does not lie in their sweat shops anymore. China did not lift their 800 million people out of poverty sweating for other nations. The power of China lies in their university system with more than 309 globally ranked universities (rankings are from 2022 US News report of Best Global Universities Rankings available online for free). If someone checks this report of globally ranked universities, one may notice that the nations with highest GDP and per-capita income have most number of globally ranked universities. Indian politicians and media houses must understand that Universities are also part of infrastructure of a nation besides drainages, toilets, roads, air-ports, railways, internet & phones etc. Stadiums, railroads, industries and drainages are fully functional right from the day they are inaugurated. However, universities are like nurseries of orchard saplings. When seeds (students) go to the nurseries (Universities), they may all sprout. And just as seeds sprout and grow to yield food with lots of fertilizers and pesticides, the youth sprouted must grow with all the nutrition and vaccinations to yield tangible results of the development for nation. The richest farmer (corporation of the foreign developed country) will pay lots of price for the saplings because he is in a hurry to get them into his farm (foreign developed nation). Once he’s done taking as many as he could plant, the rest of saplings with degrees are left-overs and must struggle willingly in the environments where they get planted. Thus, similar to world-class products being produced by world-class high-tech machinery, world-class intellectuals get created due to world-class universities. And when there are many of them proportional to the population of India, definitely India will emerge as a superpower. Hope you understand what I wrote here. I wanted to write more but for some reason YT algos appear to be deleting me. In summary, just as one sprinkles water on grass, we must utilize the sprinkler system of media to soak/baptize/galvanize as many as possible so that they all understand what is meant by A KNOWLEDGE-BASED ECONOMY and its implications on globalization. The same amount of metals in kitchen utensils gives less profit than a car or a smartphone. The difference is knowledge used to make a car, a micro-chip or a smartphone or other such high-tech product. The same weight of potatoes gives less profit than same weight of a bag of delicious chips. You see that’s the power of knowledge-based economy. For those who can’t pursue studies at Universities, there must be vocational colleges teaching them 21st century job skills so they either provide their services or start their own trades. Then an environment gets created for intellectuals from India's premier universities to thrive and succeed in world arena.
