Jalex, what are you talking about? There are, like, two jokes in here that aren't "PC", and even then, I hesitate to use that term - smoking jokes for kids are more eyebrow raising than "not PC". I don't think anyone is in favor of returning to cartoons with thick lipped African Americans and squinty eyed Asians. In answer to the larger question, we live in a different time, and stuff like this just doesn't market to kids - at least, that's what execs think.
@jlex10498 жыл бұрын
Today's kids are complete jackasses. They're the dumb little fools that walk off cliffs to catch invisible pocket monsters. As for the big lips and squint eyes, that's one thing, but for the most part, everything else is a whole hell of a lot funnier than pokemon, digimon and I'manassholemon.

+Elizabeth Alvarado He was all riled up because he forgot to claim his prize. . . so "they called my name out at Bank Night and I wasn't there!" Bank Night was being held at some movie theaters and audience members would go up to sign for any kind of prizes which took place during intermissions. If somebody's name was called but that somebody wasn't there to claim it, (s)he risks losing his/her prize. This way of movie theaters raising money was eventually banned by 1940.

Good question. I've watched this cartoon as a kid and, to this day, I still don't get it.

People often said this when passing a pole or similar post together, as a superstitious gesture, for good luck.

This is so great, even if you can see most of the gags coming a mile away. Doesn't make them any less funny or the animation and voice acting any less superb.
