This video was really helpful. I'm training my service dog and have been apprehensive about how he'll do in an office setting (I work in law). It was so nice to see.

@ThePeachyPups @MadisonDrue In a month or less Im going to try out prospect a young adult dog, & after the 2 yrs owner training. (service dog in training - to fully trained sd) Im not sure, but I was wondering since Im interested in becoming 911/ public safety dispatcher- after sd is fully trained and I did the requirements to see if I fit the job & if so got in, do I ask if I can bring sd to my job and ask for pottybreaks (relieve outdoors dog) during the work day, should I also talk about this subject to my official state work commission website to see if they could also help? Thanks.

I like her because she lets him be a dog and have freedom while still being a service dog.

Our sweet Rotty had epilepsy until she passed from a stroke at 10 years. It will be one year next month. She was a gift of love so just know this dog was sent to you from the greatest place! My best to you both!

This was a really interesting video. I just came across your channel and recently became a service dog handiler myself. I really like that you let him run around a bit when the office is empty and let him interact with coworkers when it works for you. People always seem to think that the service dogs always need to be working and that they can never do anything else but work

My girl gets off time in the breaks at school and gets to greet the other students! She loves this and she deserves this, especially on long days. Our building is not the main one so she gets to run free often and it is def a highlight and makes her enjoy work more! :)

I wish about the bathroom, my girl Stella is a big goldendoodle and I use a wheelchair a lot as I can't walk far. The people who take up the handicap bathroom and don't need it piss me off to no end especially if there are many other open stalls but the handicap one is the only one being used by and able bodied person just makes me want to scream

I am a relatively small person and my dog is on the smaller side of medium so we can fit in a non-handicap bathroom stall so I prefer to use those just because a wheelchair user might need to use the handicap stall

I'm waiting till my pup is certified in a year or so (where I am they have to be) but I'm worried they will say no because it is a school and if I have to leave when the time comes. I'm not sure, I'm new to all this

I’m sorry that this is off topic but do you have party eyes? Sorry I’m just wandering.

What do you mean party eyes haha my eyes are two different colors if that’s what you meant
@sd.lulu.multipurpose53062 жыл бұрын
@@GrandSlamK9 some people say two different eye colors are party eyes. I meant no disrespect. I love your eye colors though. I’ve heard there’s a small percentage of the human population that has two different eye colors. But never met or seen one.

@@GrandSlamK9 sorry if I was disrespectful by saying that. They really are pretty though. It’s not a fetish but it still attracts my attention when I see them. It’s not very common to see humans or even animals with party eyes.

how did you wind up able to drive after being diagnosed with epilepsy. in the usa usually your driver's license is revoked when you are diagnosed.
@GrandSlamK92 жыл бұрын
It depends on state laws and doctors discretion! I have been seizure free long enough now to where my doctor thinks it’s safe I can drive :)

Are you training the dog to be a service dog or is he of service to you?

I’m getting a service dog soon and I work as a receptionist and I was wondering I have a hour break so do I take my dog? Out to use the restroom during that time or how do you do it?
@GrandSlamK92 жыл бұрын
You can do that, depending on the age and size of the dog. Balto can go 8 hrs without going to the restroom but I take him out every 2 hours for a 10 minute break to decompress. Write up a reasonable accommodation and give it to your employer about how you’ll take your breaks with your SD!
