Fishing with your dad are the best times. Lost mine 24 years ago and still think of him every time I go fishing😢. A really good quality video especially considering it was done on your phone. Thank you for the entertainment.

"...some idiot's rigs..." so you were driving then, Mr AA? 😂😂 Long walk home otherwise... On a more serious matter, how are you getting on with the Sea Legs tripod? Any snagging of line on the knobbly protrusions on the side of the "U"? Merry Xmas to you & yours.

You come across as a bit salty moaning about a couple of lads travelling up to the Humber and catching a few fish for the table and posting it on their social media!!! If they caught a few…good on them,but saying they only wanted 15 minutes of fame seems a bit 2 faced as isn’t that just what you’re doing making these videos? Only difference is they posted a few pics of their bag laying on the ground saying they caught them up the Humber,where as you are making videos disclosing the full surroundings/exact location as well as telling everyone the baits rigs and whatever else they need to know to go to that exact spot and catch without the need to do any groundwork for themselves…end of the day we all go out to catch and once we do it’s our choice what we do with the catch(providing it’s in size)! The truth is the shear volume of anglers that fish the Humber for cod each year is increasing year in year out because of the likes of these videos and social making it easy for even a novice with little to no watercraft skills to go out and catch(thankfully many fish catch and release these days but I wouldn’t hold it against anyone taking a bag if they choose to do so),not to mention If you spend a bit of time looking threw the social media groups often see the same faces popping up in the social media groups taking far bigger bags on a weekly basis than a couple of lads that took a dozen or so fish on one of the couple of trips that they make up to the Humber each year!

I'm not salty about lads posting catch reports at all, or even saying they're on the Humber. But what3words references to the exact point they fished only encourages the lazy anglers who leave their rubbish everywhere. Like you say, there are plenty of references in my videos, Im far from a secret squirrel. In my experience, if someone wants to put the effort in to figure out where i am, chances are they're also likely to put the effort in to take their rubbish home with them.

@@theawfulanglerI’m the oppersite I like to try keep my marks to myself,for the exact same reasons we have both outlined,only stating local/down the road for my home beach or beaches near to me or the beach name(without going into detail) for beaches further afield,because from past experience if you do give anything out and do well you will struggle to get that spot again😢 litter is becoming an issue everywhere unfortunately(and living in a seaside holiday town I can tell you day trippers are the biggest culprits but we do get the odd angler or should I say wanna be angler leaving crap) we can only do our bit to insure the area we’re fishing is left tidy when we leave(I always do my bit and clear a 50m radius around my rods before leaving,regardless of who left it) in an attempt to protect my own reputation and the reputation of the sport we enjoy👍

@herbmeister357 I think we are both on exactly the same page mate. So just to confirm, are we both salty or unsalted? 😅

Sorry but what gives you the right to criticize other angles for posting on their youtube channel what fish they caught and where? To me a few youtube anglers are getting very snobby. Its not your coastline or river its everyones. And on that note i will now unsubscribe from this channel.
@theawfulangler
@theawfulangler 17 күн бұрын
I'm not talking about youtubers, I'm talking about posts on Facebook of bags of fish, anything from about 1/2lb upwards. With post codes, what 3 words references and all the rest. Those sort of posts only encourage the lazy type who aren't willing to put the effort in themselves. And before you know it, the marks are covered in bait wrappers and beer bottles. It's sad, but it's true.
@karlnewbold
@karlnewbold 17 күн бұрын
@theawfulangler KZbin or Facebook what ever. As long as all the fish where in size. So your calling Levo one of those type of angler's because he always put location info in his posts. I left Carp angling because of this sort of bitching and backstabbing and snobbery.
