I'm one of those obsessive JW fans that has watched and listened to literally every interview he's done and I have got to say I've never seen him so relaxed and so comfortable opening up about his experiences. Thank you for letting him speak without interruptions because we don't often get to see him finishing his tangents (they're all worth it) or follow through with his train of thought. This was wonderful, 3 hours isn't even enough to hear all his stories. Please interview him again in the future, particularly about the episode where he was arrested and the parts of his life when he fished without a film crew, you're definitely the interviewer suited best for this job.

Greatest fishing podcast ever. Glad going back to roots is where Wades happiness lies. I can understand as someone who's hunted infront of cameras across the world for 30 years nothing makes me happier than hunting the woods I grew up in alone without cameras.

such a shame whats happening to modern carping, people spending 1000s on gear they dont need, using inflatable boats to row out and drop bait and lines and then row out when they have a fish on...totally wrecks the sport of fishing
@MadDaCube3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree but also a bit ironic to read such a comment on a brand channel. Nash has been one of the biggest driving forces behind the commercialization of carp fishing and making it very equipment heavy and bloated. I love using their products but it's true.

Variety is the spice of life. fishing is about the pleasure an individual derives from their pass time. If you enjoy slinging a big lead to the horizon from the beach, fish with a pole or use a bait boat. As long as you are happy doing it your way and not bothering anyone, then why worry about others 💁

Bumped into Jeremy wade 3 times last week he's a really nice guy, I was fishing a carp lake and he spoke to me for over an hour giving me tips and asking questions about the lake, he also made me some bread paste on the bank and taught me how to tie 2 lines together with a blood knot. On the 2nd and 3rd days I met him he was pulling lots of carp out the lake like a mad man I love it! Can't beat surface fishing with bread! Eventually the birds pissed him off by eating all his bread though and he had to go home lol

Brilliant conversation. Just the minor niggle with the equipment….I noticed it more with the Nige Sharp podcast, what is it with the mics.. if the interviewee briefly speaks slightly quieter the mic seems to cut out and pick up again once they speak at a certain volume. A few times Jeremy re-positioned the mic in this when it happened.
