@@NaesLifestyle Yes, actually this isn't my first choice of course but eventually as time goes by I slowly fall inlove being a radtech. Some says flaws of being a radtech is that more exposure in radiation but we are trained on how we can protect ourselves to it. Being a radtech is a good choice for me because it's not only indemand here in the Philippines but also in abroad. It will give you tons of opportunities being a radtech! when you give the xray results, how you do it? i mean you tell the patient or the doctors? and how you tell them?

Rad techs aren't legally allowed to diagnose any image. That has to be conveyed by the overseeing radiologist (or physician).

We just gave them the official results and let the doctor interpret it to the patient ☺️

Yes. Almost all the medical imaging machines radtechs are capable of handling those. But depende din sa kung saan ka nagwowork if saan ka maaasign na machine.

Hello Po doc Tanong ko lang Po kung fit to work pa Rin Ako Kase impression sa x-ray kopo " additional apicolordotic view is suggested " , suspicious density is seen in both upper lobes, the heart is not enlarged, the rest of thoracic structures is Normal " Nung February 2022 ok Naman Po x-ray ko, bale Po malakas Ako manigarilyo. Mag papa x-ray Po ba ulit Ako o pwede Kona Po ipasa sa company Yung x-ray ko?

Hi Lawrence! Actually I'm not a doctor. Radiologist yun. Sa case mo, nagrequest si doc for another special view which is apicolordotic which focus in your upper lobes. You should have to take another xray which is yung apico.

Hi thankyou! ✨ Yes sometimes super stressful na but as time goes by masasanay kana din and you'll know what to do to overcome the stress. It's just part of it, but sooner or later you'll enjoy your time being productive in you profession and being able to handle those things that cause you stress 🤍

Wards are room typically allocated to the patients. I just used the word "ward" because radtechs gives results to the nurse in their respective ward/stations ☺️ especially if admitted

Hi, I studied Radiologic Technology and graduated 5 years ago in Cebu but I never took the board exam. I'm planning to take the board exam but I already forgot everything I've learned. Do I need to take a refresher course or should I just go enroll to a review center? Hope you can help me. Thanks!

Hi! This time you're preparing for the board exam i think? Tip I can give to you in studying rad posi is to make if fun while studying. I don't have any idea about being a radtech in the US but in other country like Canada/Australia I think it's much easier to enter Canada if you're an incoming student.
