I dont do agencies. Ive always worked full time with one haulage firm , who also put me through my LGV , ADR and all of my driver CPC at no cost to myself, plus ive been with this firm since 1997 ..

When I worked for Nightfreight many years ago, the drivers wore green hi viz vests, the managers wore orange. Years later in ADR work I only wore orange because it made me feel like a manager 😁

I like Lena but even up to date now ive never seen her do a delivery without getting it wrong or having to walk over fields to find it ,Every time is the second or third time she giggles and smiles but she is not listening to what they are saying .Every drop is a mess and ive only ever seen her only have 3 drops maximum .but then she takes a shower after 2 drops and then to late for the 3rd drop . i know drivers that can knock out 8 or even 10 drops a day .

l tried for years to get class 2 / Cat C work! Going from agency to agency ! All I got was the "we only want people with experience crap" !!! If you can't drive to start with then how do you get the experience! FFS! (Ten years driving in the army didn't count apparently because l had no Tachograph experience ! (If you can survive 6 months driving trucks in Bosnia you can survive anything UK roads can throw at you that's for sure!)! This was about 2010 when l left the army!!! But I suppose now if you got a nice smile and body ,put some make up on & flutter the eyelids in front of a man or men at the interview ! That's the way it goes sadly! Even with married men ! You wouldn't think at the time ,2010- 2015, the UK was allegedly short of HGV drivers! Is that myth still in circulation ? Any way I gave up in 2015 & went to live in Greece !! Feck 'em!

Going around in circles trying to find your stone?? Yep, been in this situation a thousand times. You're lucky to have such a nice shovel driver. I used to go to quarries where the shovel drivers would hide behind big stock piles and they'd get really pissed off when I found them and asked them to load me.

No not much of a chance of it igniting at all, as you can see as soon as they are laying it they walking all over straight away, its sticky and warm but not that dangerous i dont think. I'm ex military, I've had my c and c+e licences for 4 years but not much experience as my job didn't really need me to drive much. But I'm a confident driver tho! I'm looking at going into this role as a tipper driver for fox brothers ? Any advice etc for a new beginner. My main worry is reversing tight spaces 😂😂! seems to be good money my friend comes out with 2.4k a month which is a lot more than what I was getting in the military

🤣true but still way less women than men on the road so I’m trying to encourage more women into the driving industry and when they google search ‘female drivers’ I pop up 😉 Still doesn’t hurt to clarify in the title ‘female driver’ as if people searching specifically for female drivers - I’m there among the others. Whereas just ‘tipper driver’ search etc I might or I might not. Anyways is just the way I’ve started doing it and will carry on. Not sure if it’s right or not but that’s the brand of my channel 😊

Hi Lena. I’ve almost started my new career in hgv driving. I have my theory test for class 2 next month. I’ve just completed my cpc and got my tachocard as I’ve got 7.5 ton entitlement. Hopefully to get going before I can get my class 2 practical booked. doing the cpc for the first time almost put me off tbh. All the dangers and strict regulations. I hope to be passed by Christmas. Not yet but we are working on it, my husband has started the course but he doesn’t want to do the exam until we have enough money to buy the truck so that the licence lasts longer 👌🏻
