Absolutely wonderful video sir! I really enjoy watching your Hyrax hunts and the emphasis you make concerning not only humane shooting, but also doing your best to make sure that what you shoot is not wasted. I appreciate that aspect of your videos so much because it gives an excellent example of what hunting is all about; not going out and shooting animals just to be shooting them, but for a purpose and with the responsibility of the outcome in mind.

When I consider what ft/lbs they allow us to use in the UK for air guns before having to apply for a F.A.C., makes me realise what possibilities we are missing out on after watching your videos. Whilst we don't have the variety of quarry that you do, having to get within 25 - 30m of a rabbit or squirrel to take an effective shot with a 12 ft/lbs rifle often results in your target getting spooked before you can get close enough to take a shot. Very envious, but keep up the good work.

Matt you should get Aztec to make a scope with second focal plane crosshairs but ranging dots in the first focal plane. That way you can range at any power yet keep the clarity of the crosshairs and while avoid covering up your target with the crosshairs.

Great video again! I was thinking, would it not help a lot to use a range finder with inclinometer set to "bow mode" so it tells you the distance to actually dial your scope to? This is used in competitive field archery as well where inclines also add another challenge. Keep up the great videos

Hello friend. I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. I also like hunting. Here in Brazil it is only allowed to slaughter European boars that were introduced in Argentina and ended up invading Brazil. It ended up becoming a plague. Government agency authorizes slaughter for control. I watch your videos and I like them a lot. South Africa is very similar to certain regions of Brazil and the climate varies a lot depending on the region and the season. Normally the temperatures are high. I would like to ask: what do you do with slaughtered animals? Good luck and keep posting your videos. Here we use the .22 LR caliber a lot.
