This little Lady is indeed a Gem! I hate to say this, but this kind of humility and dedication to their professions is rarely if ever present amongst young people in this country today. It's all about "Me" , social status and the mighty dollar. Japanese workers from the dock gang to the most humble trades practiced a professionalism and a commitment that really impressed me when I used to go to Japanese cities as a merchant seaman onboard Matson, APL and Sealand ships in the 80's and 90's. The Japanese people mostly take pride in whatever they do, and they are some of the best tradesmen and women Worldwide. As a people we not only validate ourselves, but our culture and our way of life. Think about that.

This man-powered Japanese Chinese rickshaw serves as a reminder of their hard work in the past. However, in some Asian places, rickshaw drivers still work in poor conditions despite modern transportation. I am very impressed with how Japan, China, Singapore, and South Korea fight hard to live their everyday lives. I'm not saying everyone, but many Africans and Asians, should take this example and work together! Donkeys work hard, but they can't compete with humans academically. They lack the same cognitive abilities and education.
