I went out to prune mid Feb, only to find most plants were already done by the deer. Your Christmas display was the most beautiful I'd seen anywhere, sorry the cold got to some plants.

I love how you planted snowdrops in such cute containers! How do you keep from overwatering when there’s no drainage holes ?

Great question 😁 it was very temporary and snowdrops like moisture so I didn’t worry too much but yes as a rule, it better to have drainage or else you have to empty the excess water every time it rains 🤣 (or risk loosing the plant)

Oh, you didn't just dump a bunch of bulbs and hellebores did you?? I love your winter display. I keep meaning to reuse a Christmas tree outside for the winter. Maybe decorate it for the birds.

😭 I had to - everything was rotten and turning to mush… I even lost a viburnum and a small holly which I had held on to for 4y 😭 but it’s fine Spring will be in full swing soon!!🙏🌼🌷🌱
