Last year I ordered so many things from Baker Creek and I had so little growth rate I will never purchase anything from there again unfortunately I hate to say that but it's just the truth. I from now on will always order everything from Hoss Tools, the only thing that I did not have superb germination right on was my squash other than that I had a great germination on everything. Every penny that you spend on Hoss Tools you've spent your money wisely. You're Protege Garden is lovely every time that I see it I'm more impressed🦋 You have such a precious Spirit about you thank you for sharing this with us it is such a rarity we are so blessed to have you as a KZbinr that's willing to share their time space in life with us, God bless you

I adore Roselle! The flowers are beautiful, it fills space like no one's business., the deer don't touch it, and the leaves are even good for you. I don't care for the leaves but when dried, they can enhance stews and soups if dehydrated and crushed into powder. The BEST way I think is to dehydrate the pods and add some to a pitcher of cold water. After it sits for 15 minutes, strain it and add sugar and you have instant Kool-Aid - the kids love it and it is good for them. They dry so well that I found a 2020 jar full in back of my storage and decided to give it a try - great - no deterioration in strength or flavor.. Instant Kool-Aid with ease - try it! Love how you arranged with God for the fabulous sunset during the filming. SO very beautiful. I also really love your curved beds and will surely use that idea. Great video!

I have mullein growing and found out it’s so medicinal….last year I dried the leaves and made a tincture by putting it in vodka. My husband smokes and has that cough at times so I had him drink some tincture, the next morning he didn’t cough like he usually does. It’s great for the lungs and you can dry it for tea or smoke it on a pipe…. You said you might plant flowers. I have made echinacea flowers into a tincture …I love how they are pretty yet medicinal. So far this year I’ve made dandelion tinture and dried some for tea….dried purple nettle, I’m now drying lemon balm. Which last night I made chamomile and lemon balm tea and I actually slept better then I have in a long time. I just read sweet mint is a mood enhancer and that it helps with depression….with all that’s going on I’m definitely will be drying this for tea. I’ve made some bird houses and it has helped with bug control in my gardens…..I’m excited to have a Baltimore Oriole coming to my humming bird feeder….some of the flowers on the container came off and the holes are large enough for him to drink from. If I had such a pretty garden as you do I’d have a screened in sitting area right in the middle, a peaceful place to be alone and rest . Your baby plants you said are having some difficulty taking off. I have found wood chips can keep from letting the plant soak up water and some leaf compost at first works better for me. What I do is keep the wood chips back until the plant gets well established. Comfrey compost tea or epson salt diluted helps my babies…just a suggestion….

worm castings and potash will help those butterfly pea plants that you use for medicinal teas, the mulch and leaves mulched all around them could be making the soil to acidic for them, so by adding the worm castings, it will give them a boost and the potash will boost the PH back up to neutral, you perhaps might also want to add a little lime dust around the plants as well and water it in, it will take longer for the lime to raise the PH, than the potash, but will do a more gradual raise to the soils PH, do PH test on your soil around the plant periodically to see if it is right for that plant! You should see some new green healthy growth after these amendments, Dr. Earth Golden bloom can also be watered in on the leaves for a boost to help! May God bless your gardens and everything you put your hands to do on your homestead as it blesses others with it and also of yourself with your time and knowledge!
