A Day in My Life as a Working Mom // Real Talk About the Future

A typical day in my life as a working mom when I take my daughter to daycare. My feelings surrounding daycare have changed since we started our baby in daycare just one month ago.
Becoming a mom is such a big change and comes with many uncertainties. But as a new mom, I am finding my way to navigate them and do what is best for our little family.

I feel you on daycare. My wife was happy to quit her job to stay at home. It’s not normal to send our kids to daycare to be raised by strangers, and really is the best for the kiddos to be with their parents. I feel blessed that my wife can stay home.

I had a hard time with daycare as well. Have you thought about working from home and having a part time nanny? You could set a camera up in the house to keep an eye on things and also it would give Olive the structure of being home where she's comfy.

That’s definitely a good idea but a nanny is just too expensive. It would make more sense for me to just stay home.

I've been looking to start using period underwear, is there a brand you'd recommend or use yourself?

I’d buy one pair from a few different companies to see what you like best. Are use a brand called Aisle. They’re great, but not my favorite.

If you could find an in home day care with fewer kids it might work. Otherwise stay home with her and dont apologize. They grow up too fast.
