The way I would have ordered extra towels just to see the robot 🤣

We reside in western Washington, but took the cruise to Alaska in 2022 and Amtrak to Glacier National Park near the Embassy Suites the Leggs used. And Tai Tung is also our favorite Chinese restaurant in Wa and we even take the ferry just to dine @ Tai Tung. Order the Oyster Sauce Beef which was apparently Bruce Lee’s favorite.

My husband was a pinball wizard in the 60's and 70's. Loved watching him play. He would have loved the Pinball museum.

I love that you discovered the waterfall park and visited unique places like the pinball museum. I always encourage people to just get out and walk whatever city they are visiting. You never know what you will find. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures!

Loved seeing someone spend time in Seattle away from the major tourist spots. Seattle area is also a great whale watching spot. The orcas come through in May.

For bus: we are taking Quick Shuttle from Seattle to Vancouver. It picks us up at SEA and the bus stops at multiple locations. For us, it's dropping us off at the Holiday Inn and Suites downtown. It was $40 roundtrip per person. The hotel is located 1 block from Tim Horton's (can't wait) and a 15-20 min walk from Canada Place. :-) We sail on Cunard Queen Elizabeth in Aug!

The Rolling Stones concert was yesterday (May 15th) at WAMU Theatre which is part of the Lumen Field complex, so most downtown hotels would have been booked for that. Also not only the Seahawks play there but also the Seattle Sounders (MLS - Major League Soccer) and Seattle Reign (NWSL - National Women’s Soccer League).

I don’t think I’ve seen a hotel with a 13th floor! Maybe shows my lack of traveling but I’ve always noticed they skip 13!

I was thinking the same thing. The newer buildings don’t skip 13 anymore. I think pretty soon it will be a thing of the past.

Next time you guys are in Orlando you need to stay at a Universal hotel, Aventura. They have a robot that will bring things to your room. You use the text feature on your tablet in the room and ask for Relay and you will get a call as it rolls up to your room! I've seen people even ask for a surprise and got candy. He's that much fun!

Oh my goodness! My great grandparents had that Nip It pinball machine in their basement. It now belongs to my dad and I am hoping to convince him to give it to me if I ever buy a house.

We flew Orlando to Seattle and Amtrak for our Princess cruise in 2018. We were glad we went to Vancouver a day early bc our train hit a car on the way up and delayed us 3 hours! People on the train with us were worried they would miss their cruise. We lost 3-4 hours of seeing Vancouver but glad to have made it safely! I’ll keep your hotel in mind for when we do it again. We stayed out by the airport and had to take Ubers to get to the train.

Another option for getting to Amtrak's King Street Station from SeaTac is the Link light rail that leaves every 8 - 10 minutes.

So I'm arriving on the actual day of my cruise day we get to Seattle at 845am do you have any recommendations on how to get to the ship from the airport and what time do they start boarding and I love your channel

Your seattle blogs always make me feel homesick Also, my gues to why hotels were so expensive: Seattle (like the silicon valley) gets a lot of business travel during the week, so hotels tend to be more expensive mon-fri and cheaper on the weekends when there is actually less people traveling to the city
