Landlords must be compelled to paint their houses. There are laws for that, that houses must be painted every 10 years or something...and the laws must be enforced...the city council and the municipal council are responsible for that. Go around the Takoradi, especially from Paa Grant Roundabout to the market circle, around the circle and then onto the road to the transport yard/Mankesim Whitehouse, all the houses along the roads are dirty and have not seen paint in more than 20 years... just imagine how market circle will look like if all the houses are re-painted....

The work which was supposed to be completed needs to be done so and quickly. The area is congested because the traders have no place to go. Maybe the circle should be competely pedestrianised. Cars go round and bypass the area. Also apply restrictions of where a trader can set up their pitch and enforce this, so they understand that the place can be better organised and decongested. Very little innovation or planning.
