You can apply materials in F360, export as 3mf, and import into Orca/Bambu Studio. When you get the "Multi-part Object Detected" popup, click "Yes", and the bodies will all import at the correct height. Makes applying different colors in the slicer much easier. It also prints the entire body the color you want, so you don't have to check the layers in the slicer preview.

I will definitely be trying that out, thank you!

I never knew it was that easy... I've always avoided the sign market because I'm not artistic but I think I can actually do this... Thanks for the quick tutorial

I extrude the main body of the model to the full thickness, then the other parts that will be different colors, I make those .6mm deep. Then I split the STL into parts in the slicer, then I can pick each part and assign it a filament color. That way I know I'll get three full layers of each color at a .2mm layer height so the opacity is always good. Another thing you can do for these types of prints is turn on Develop mode in the preferences so you can adjust the first layer extrusion ratio to be a little higher.

I posted this as a top-level, but you can save yourself some time in the slicer by applying materials to the bodies and exporting as 3mf. When you import, click "yes" on the multipart object import pop-up. The bodies will then have a different material applied in the slicer and you can adjust the plastic and color of the filament.

My opinion is that even if you make somthing in a saturated maket there is a chance that it will bring someone to your store. Maybe they might buy that item but they may see something else you make that they did not even know about. So its not a bad idea to have trendy or over saturated items in your shop as long as you have other items that are differnt.

That's what I'm planning to do when I start my shop. Create some popular items with low margins just to get eyes on the items I really want to sell. Hope it works.😁
