Marnie - I used to get the dip manicure too, but now my nail tech does acrylics with shellac on top and it’s only $38 where I go. I got tired of waiting for the dip to be soaked off, to labor-intensive LOL and the acrylics are super hard like the dip so it last three weeks for me.

Hi Marnie, I noticed that you wear contacts. Are they multifocal? If so, what brand do you use? I was wearing the Acuvue Moist 1-day for months then all of a sudden they started getting very uncomfortable. Looking for another brand. Would love to know your thoughts. Thanks so much.

So if your "dip" nails are what we call SNS In Australia here's a tip. I no longer get mine soaked off in a bowl i get my salon to soak them individually with cotton wool and foil. It is faster and is less damaging on the skin on your fingers.
