The Wits’ Students Physician Society is a student society which hosts events and workshops focusing on the field of internal medicine. We are also involved in life at medical school and we try and make a meaningful difference through mental health activism and mentorship events.

Hi Vuyani, Part of the MBBCH first year program at Wits is a semester course in The Sociological Foundations of Health. Therefore in first year we were required to do Sociology as part of our course requirements. This may however change with curriculum updates as the years progress. We hope this helps!
