I graduated from BCIT in 2001 with Diploma in Automation and Instrumentation Technology. I switched careers and work in Finance now and its interesting to see BCIT program hasn't changed that much except now you can complete the degree full time at BCIT. Before that wasn't an option. BCIT was about four times harder than getting my Bachelor of Commerce. The pressure and workload is continuous. But when you graduate you will be prepared to work. It's worth it.

Is it hard to get job after graduating Diploma in Automation and Instrumentation??
@derfdswed4 жыл бұрын
@@itsjungus I finished it in 2001 so info is really outdated but BCIT has a good reputation and I got a job right after graduating in the USA at General Electric Power Systems. If you are willing to move around where the jobs take you and finish the Bachelor degree or the Red Seal ticket then you'll always be in demand

I had a job before graduation. There are always more jobs in this field than people trained in it and if you are willing to move outside the Lower Mainland you will find opportunities.

Hello! thanks for sharing this with us! 😀 And I wanna ask u about BCIT in general, I'm studying at BCIT ISEP downtown and I always wonder do ISEP students struggle after they start their follow up program at BCIT burnaby? Like in communicating and participating in class. I asked you this question because you may have had a previous ISEP student classmate 😅. Btw my follow up program is Electrical engineering too 😀✌🏻️
@beav.50688 жыл бұрын
Hello! The ISEP students that I know from previous terms are super hard-working and ask a lot of good questions in class. The instructors are generally pretty good with sticking around for questions after class and in office hours. It always helps to get into study groups, which the instructors really push for from the very beginning. Good luck in your studies and I hope to see you around on campus! :)
