Thanks, Mohsen. It differs a lot. My main focus on this game at the start was identifying the players, an issue I rarely face in Serie A. In the latter I try to offer my colour and anecdotes about well-known players

This is a great insight! I’m looking to go into this field in the near future. Would you recommend UCFB? They specialise in sports journalism and I’m hoping to go to that university in the next few years. Any recommendations on how to get experience at maybe local clubs

Hi Dec, glad you enjoyed it. Personally I didn't study sports journalism at university but I think it's a good option as you learn broad skills which obviously can be applied to commentary. The alternative would be a course in broadcast journalism. Keep me posted!
