This was so helpful thank you!! I have a 15 week old frenchie and he’s already 11 pounds 😂 definitely gonna be a chonk and I’m quite worried about flying with him. I wish you could just buy them their own seat and not have to worry about weight or carrier size!!

Have you flown Delta ?

Not yet. Unfortunately, there are no direct flights on Delta from Charlotte to Phoenix (we fly to PHX most often). If there were direct flights, we would likely fly Delta.

He still eats Stella and Chewys but we add Primal freeze dried nuggets on tops!

I'm getting a French bulldog next week and hope to fly home with her for Christmas! I added her to my Southwest flight already but I can't get a good answer from a vet if she's too small to fly. Have you heard anything regarding puppies? Luckily it's only an hour flight

So fun! We have always had seamless and good experiences with Southwest. You should be good. Traditionally it’s usually the other way around, it’s usually a weight limit as compared to a weight “at least” For such a short flight, you should be good!!

I didn't hear what medication he is taking. Does it have to do with motion sickness? If so what do you give him. I have a dog that gets car sick and he has been through prescription and now he is given me meclizine otc. He 6mos and has never had a bad experience that I'm aware of.

Hey there! So, our vet prescribed Monte trazadone for travel anxiety, not motion sickness. I would consult with your vet and determine the best route!
