As someone who has had home care aid in the cares of a loved one and then also working as a carer... it is the most rewarding and selfless job. I love it so much

I was caregiver in homes for many years until I retired It was mostly a very satisfying position with some very appreciative seniors.

@@ematique4392 it’s going great I love it but good luck. The biggest advice o could give you is if you have a client be rude to you try and not take it personally as there just frustrated grieving their old life. But majority of people you work with are love your love it.

I totally agree, some days are better than others and some clients are better than others. It's very flexible.

Hi i'm 18 I'm interested in care but the jobs I'm finding is own Homes I'm so nervous but this has helped me so much and makes me wanna go for it a long as I have someone there thankyou for doing this video

Doesn't show you the ones that treat you like a maid, and show no respect for you, or the ones that talk over you, some people can be rude, not ever day is a nice day.

Sometimes you need help of a trained person. You don't know the story of other person. Just be kind to everyone.

Do you not get them to clean their teeth, give them a shower, do light housework? That's not a proper care job, that's more a Befriender.

You do but they don't go into great detail here, there is a lot more too it. I just finished my shadow shifts and will be going out on my own tomorrow morning
