Congrats on your A School accomplishment! I graduated in 1985 from HM A School at Great Lakes. Enjoy your career! Go to Nuclear Medicine school if you have the opportunity. Great pay after you get out!! Enjoy the journey.

Do you have any info on Fleet Returnees? Such as living outside the barracks, BAH, liberties, etc. Im going to corpsman school soon as an E-5 prior service Marine and want to know how it'll be for prior service, thanks!

So for fleet returnees you are still required to live in the barracks because you are in student status but if you pick up C-school when choosing orders then you’re allowed to live off base but while in A school you are living in the barracks

The first few weeks had mini twists and put it into a bun then I just wore my natural and put it in a bun. Just gel and the bun holder

Good luck in boot camp. You’re gonna here this a lot but the fastest way to get out is to get through it. But my advice since you’re doing atf is to make sure you’re in really good shape. Y’all pt everyday. Different from the rest of the students at A school
